Tappan 8" Range Cooktop Stove Replacement Surface Burner Heating Element 318372213

This is an exact fit on my Tappan stovetop. It fit great and worked immediately. I would warn a very small amount of smoke came off of element on first turn on. Very easily installation!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The coating on the heating elements began chipping off almost immediately after being installed. I ended up with dark grey powder all over the stove and the drip pan. I'm not sure what the coating is, but I doubt it's something that you want landing in your food! I took the faulty element to my local appliance repair shop and bought the proper replacement (Frigidaire), which was only a few dollars more. So far, I've had zero trouble with the new replacement. Lesson learned: not all replacement parts are equal. Save yourself the hassle, and buy the right product the first time around. 4 other customers rated it 5 stars, so maybe they switched distributors, or I got a lemon.

The Burner Heating Element was the right size and fitted perfectly. I have had no problem out of it. Great replacement and the price was reasonable. Since most appliances have such a short life, I am glad that Amazon is here to fill the gap and take the middle man out of the equation, so that the product will be much more cost effective. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs one. Thanks

Was broken when it arrived. Doesn't fit exactly right. But still worked. Kinda disappointed. Considering it was supposed to be an exact fit!

Works and fits immediately

Perfect! I ruined the coil canning with a large pressure canner, and dealt with it for too long. This just popped right in, and now I have my large burner back! Why didn't I do it sooner??

The element was a little twisted and now it’s stuck in my stove.
