I don't think it is meant for outside use and product info may have said that. It's tiny and cute.
I like the tree although it is smaller than I wanted. The leaf stuff isn't so great and I'm using it outside. It didn't hold up outside at all. Overall though it's a cute tree and I'm happy with it. The resin of the tree is sturdy but not the "leaves."
