Color by Number Travel Across America Coloring Book: 55 Fun State & National Park Stamps

A good color by number concept, different in variety.
Love the pictures for the states and the stamp concept. The color chart does not state the colors. There are 25 colors. The one thing that is a little difficult is that the chart shows the colors and some are very similar, then shows the hues and they seem very similar to other ones on the chart, a bit confusing, especially with no names to colors. There is a picture at back of book with all the pics of the stamps colored in. The issue is that the 1st stamp Alabama is drawn with various colors for the sunset. The actual color by numbers used in the picture have one color/# used, so it really does not match what you will be coloring. the pages are perforated for removal and are a little heavier for different mediums. Overall a good book, just could have some improvement.

For advanced detailers
A little too detailed for my taste but beautiful drawings.

Save your 10 Bucks
I'm returning this. And I NEVER return a $10 item by mail-I can't be bothered. But I'm sending it back out of principle. This is the lamest, cheesiest "adult" coloring book possibly ever. A book full of overly simplistic (not even particularly artistic) full size pages of stamps to color by number.Yes, some of you are saying-hey, it's color by number! However, if you've seen some of the others available here for example the Colortronic books or the mandala book by Creative Haven, you know they can actually be pretty challenging for adults. Personally, I like these for coloring where you don't have to rack your brain with color choices; it's fun to see the results. Now THIS book contains 55 (insert synonym for cheesy since I already used it) stamps sectioned off with numbers, that would take about 20 minutes a page--unless you're a senior or a ten year old. Not that there is anything wrong with that. #gogranny!Anyway, it's my fault for breaking my rule that I don't buy a coloring book online without seeing plenty of reviews or preferably SAMPLE PAGES. An insult to the adult colonists. What a waste.

Simple and relaxing
Ive been doing adult coloring for years and i love this book. The pages turned out very well. Yes its simple but sometimes when you color you just want to turn youre brain off and not have to think. Not all books have to be complicated and this one is simple enjoyable and relaxing

Three Stars
not really an 'adult' book, it's way too simple.

Not suitable for adult coloring project
Coloring book is far inferior to most adult coloring books. Paper quality is low, color code is given as a black and white word salad of names of colors in different fonts. The level of detail is quite unsophisticated for an adult. Perhaps this would be an okay gift for a 2nd or 3rd grader.
