Quaint little Czech tool, I really enjoy the wooden element and love the length and weight.I would however say that the poke tool is a little too long and tends to poke under my fingernail when getting it out.Other than that, the plate at the base is perfect size and the knife tool is strange, but good at cleaning the mortise.This tool could also loosen over time and I am unsure how one would tighten it if they needed too.Overall this is a great tool for what you pay for! The look alone is stellar!

If you have a pipe smoker in your family he will greatly enjoy this little tool. Works perfectly to help us enjoy a good smoke.

Every pipe smoker has about 3 or 4 or 25 of those cheap tamping tools bundled with pipes. Well this is the one you will use. It's got weight for packing a bowl, it's build well, and easy to store in your pocket next to your jackknife . It has a long poker perfect for getting to the bottom of deep bowls for scraping and the clearing access tobacco. The scrapper is thick, and because of that it is only good for light cleaning of a pipe. It serrated and will the job with enough effort but I've found my jackknife is better for heavy cleaning. I use this primarily to tamp, pack and clear my pipes on the go and at home. But for heavy cleaning I use different tools. Even so, well worth the 8 bucks. I use it every day and its built to last.

There isn't anything to dislike about this kit, the wood on the sides give it classy look. It does what it's supposed, scrap, loosen and your tobacco. I would recommend this tool.

This is not as impressive in real life as the picture makes it appear.. Actual tool looks a little cheap.
