Bought this set to teach a 2 year old. So far have only used the wooden cutter. Easy to cut through bananas and blueberries. Very safe to use. Have not used the plastic knives yet will do in time, bit sharp on pointed end. Would recommend to teach young children how to use knives safely.

My 2y10m old boy loves this set. He’s been using all the tools for over a week now and really enjoyed the whole chopping/prepping work. He calls himself “chef” now and keeps asking for fruits and veggies to slice (and eat during the process!). Great buy, deffo recommended!

i bought these mainly for my 4 year old son. he uses the coloured knifes and they seem to cut well. i would say that they are sharp enough to cut but not to properly slice through so they sometime veer off to the side when pushing down. My daughter (2yr) uses the wooden one which is great. great way to teach responsible cutting

I wanted a plastic knife for lettuce do that it doesn't go brown. This product did not disappoint. Brilliant set, cuts cabbage and strawberries with ease. A bonus that they are also safe to use. Have not used the crinkle cutter or wooden banana knife yet.

Kit is perfect for my daughter to start helping in the kitchen. She loves chopping the vegetables with me

Even though these are made of plastic they are very sharp at the tip. I had ti sand the tips down quite a bit ti make them safe.

Great for learning but haven't and won't be using the crinkle one. It's way too sharp even for an adult.

Cuts well and fun for the kids
