I bought it cuz a teacher recommended it and honestly don’t like reading on a screen it’s definitely cheaper to buy an only copy but if you like holding the book it self while reading it’s a great option

While I don’t have a point of comparison, I liked this translation as it was poetic and readable. As for the story, I liked Book I but Goethe lost me in Book II.

This is by far my favorite translation of Goethe's Faust. And I had even tried reading Kaufmann's version with a bias towards him because I liked his translation of Nietzsche - but ended up not liking it. Atkins is the best way to go!!
