the splitter works fine.
The product basicly works. I am having an issue with the splitter in regards to the following. When the TV is turned on, an alert pops up saying the TV is not compatable with the splitter. TV picture dissappears for approximately 1 minute, then returns. Otherwise, the splitter works fine.

Works but with a drawback
This unit does work as an hdmi splitter. However, it requires that a valid, active device be connected to output port 1 or it won't put anything out of port 2. I don't know if this is by design or a poor implementation of EDID, but it means that if my main device (my tv) isn't on then the second device (an hdmi-over-ethernet transmitter) won't get a signal.I have other cheaper splitters that don't have this problem. It's too much trouble to return this thing, so maybe I will find another use for it.I don't recommend this device.

Great for ps4 pro hdr 4k rgb once you disable hdcp to remove dropouts
UPDATE: Died after 1 month use just out of return period. Buyer bewareWorks fairly. Well I keep the psvr unplugged from output 2 to make the hdr work. I know you can also keep the hdmi unplugged and just unplug the power to the VR unit to get the same result. Pushes through ps4 pro hdr 4k rgb no problem. Dropouts are almost non existent once I disabled hdcp.

Quality splitter.
Turns out that this is a quality, compact HDMI Splitter for us to use for splitting a satellite signal between the main Smart TV and our secondary Smart TV. Appears that we would be able to add another TV, too. Passes on the original great clarity and color. It is easy to use, works well and is as advertised. No problems thusfar. Strong signal. Recommended.

This Product works very well, and is top of the line manufactured quality, especially compared to other products that do the same thing.I use this splitter at my Barbershop with my chrome cast to stream videos from my tablet to lobby TV and Salon TV.. The perfect application.
