A somewhat dated kit but still worth the build.
I have build this kit 6 or 7 times. It is a good build and with the current after market kits available, you can make this an outstanding kit.

Missing pieces/poor quality
Don't purchase this product some pieces are missing and when you go to put the main part of a plane together does not fit properly this product does not come with any tools or glue. Seller is not helpful or cooperative. Save your money!

Just as I remember it
Revisiting this project, as I built one 20 odd years ago, which ended up in a flight museum as I had nowhere to display. Hope to keep a hold of this one. The kit is as always from Tamiya, the best possible quality. Review is as much for the seller and service. Purchased from Gentle store in Japan, and arrived at my door in 7 days via Japan post, with not so much as a blemish on the box. tracked all the way by wonderful e-mail service (standard, not requested). Happy bear all round.

Decepcionado
La he devuelto, y lo he hecho completamente decepcionado, en primer lugar porque aún viniendo precintada, al recibirla, abrir la caja y hacer una revisión de la misma observo le faltan piezas, y luego decir que compre esta misma maqueta hace justo casi un año y ahora repito con la intención de montarla y regalarla con la decoración de la primera película de TOP GUN, y sorpresa también cuando me encuentro unos plásticos de una calidad inferior a la que compre anteriormente, plásticos de aspecto quebradizo, y con muchas rebabas en algunas piezas y poco detalle, algo no habitual en una marca como TAMIYA, cosa que me hace hasta dudar sobre su procedencia, motivo este por el que he rechazado su reemplazo.
