The set up was very easy and the results just beautiful. I could not get it to connectTo wifi so I was also not able to use my phone as a remote.But frankly, I walk right by it regularly so it is not a problem for me to just unplug it for the day.There are several set ups to choose from including color changes. I love it.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this because I thought it would have stars as pictured but it does not. I’m not sure if I will keep it. Without the stars it just looks like colored smoke which I guess isn’t terrible.

If you want to add a fancy night light to your room, or if you want a nifty decoration in your living room at night, this projector does a pretty good job. It has the usual "faceted LED ball and laser" setup that most of these things have. The laser grid is not believable as stars, at least not to me. Also, I have cats, and I don't want them accidentally looking in the laser, so I turn that function off.The unit is compact, and it is designed in such a way that you can change its angle from nearly vertical, to fully horizontal, just by rotating the box. It has little ridges that act as feet to let it sit at various angles. I have this sitting on a night table on one side of a 12'x15' room. It is able to reach almost all the way to the other side of the ceiling.I must say, though, that the app saves this projector's butt. The projector has ONE button on it. And it's not just an on/off switch. It is a multi-function switch that behaves rather weirdly. If that was the only way to control this device, I wouldn't even give it two stars, no matter how colorful and bright the display is. Thankfully, it connects to the app, and the app is much easier to use. You can set up multiple custom displays to work exactly how you want them to, or you can use one of many pre-created displays that are already in the app. The timer is useful, if you want to use it to fall asleep to... OR wake up to. If you start the timer when the projector is off, it will turn it ON when the timer reaches zero.Now, the one thing I will say: connecting this device to the app was something of a pain. They tell you to pair the device while it is "close to your wifi". They're not kidding. I ultimately set this right next to the router during pairing. Once your phone has connected with the device, you can move it wherever you want it, but this was something of an annoyance.This is not the first one of these "nebula projectors" I've owned. The app does make it one of the better ones, though. Don't expect anything super fancy. It is just LED lights projecting through a faceted dome onto the ceiling, after all. But it's pretty, and it can be soothing, and if you like that kind of thing, I think you'll enjoy it.Full Disclosure: I received this product through the Amazon Vine program.

I really like the customization, light intensity, and easy integration with Alexa. It was almost effortless. It really completes the room. I have it set up in a corner and on a timer. I love walking in and seeing it running and illuminating the ceiling adding an extra dimension to the living room. It also has separate controls for the LED background and the Laser on Alexa so you can name each something different and place them in a group so you can easily power either or both together. It was a very smart move in design. I really love this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this for my kids room and they love it. The colors are beautiful and bright. There are several different variations to chose from and it connects to my echo dot!
