Impressed how good it is for the price! The blades included are not anything good so do yourself a favor and throw them out. Get some good quality feather blades and it perform great and give you a nice clean shave. Does have some weight to it so it does feel nice in the hand. Definitely recommend

This is the closest shave one can get. The razor has a tight tolerance between the mount and the cap, allowing the blade's edge to shave without worrying about nicks.

The good: It's easy to use and a good price. If you're not sure you really want to switch, this is a great way to find out. The shave is more comfortable than any cartridge razor I've ever used, and my skin appreciates it. The blades it comes with are good. I don't know what people are talking about when they say the handle is slick and hard to hold. Maybe it's been updated, but I don't have that issue at all.The bad: After just three weeks, I'm already thinking of upgrading to both an adjustable and a butterfly-opening head. There is nothing wrong with this razor. However, it doesn't get that close. I like that most of the time, but not always. I essentially still have a 5 o'clock shadow after shaving with this razor.Tip: Go to YouTube and watch a tutorial on how to use a safety razor. After dragging a cartridge razor across my face for 30 years, it was extremely beneficial to watch the tutorial and get used to the 30 degree angle and no-pressure technique.

I ordered this because I liked the idea of great shaving performance with replaceable blades so less ends up in the landfill. Great idea, but when it comes to actually shaving in the bath/ shower, it’s nearly impossible to keep a grip on the handle. I wish they had made a silicone or at least texture handle so that you an have a secure grip on the handle. This is a safety hazard, and I find myself taking much longer to shave because I have already cut myself a few times when the razor slips out of my hand.Pro: When you DO have control if it, it gives a fabulous shave. ;)

If you look around, there are many clones, but in reality they aren't even clones. They are the same. They come from the same factory with the same workers etc. For instance, if you look at shaving stands that look the same, some are seven dollars while others are fifteen, but one product is in the top one hundred. That's because these sellers solicit buyers by giving them a discounted rate etc. I'm on their black list for calling them out one too many times. My reviews are taken down, and nowhere to be seen, except on my computer. The Godfather razor does have issues, and this is the Godfather. To get an accurate review on this product check out the reviews for The Godfather, but at this price it's worth it to take a chance. I respect Baili for answering the question in the comments in a politically correct way, as they are the manufacturer. There are so many products on Amazon that gouge their customers, by re- branding them. They use different angles and lighting in their pictures to act as if their product is exclusive. The more people that catch on to this practice, the better it will be for customers.

This razor is amazing for shaving your legs! After searching and not committing for months, I landed on this after almost going for the viking’s blade but found out they’re identical.Being a beginner, I didn’t want to invest too much if I didn’t like it. This is a fantastic entry point, and take no time to learn to use. The blade guides you. My hair is thick and dark with skin incredibly prone to ingrown hairs and irritation. The shave with this is smooth and painless. I’m completely blown away by how soft my skin is and how close the shave was.Shaving with a cartridge razor, I usually prep with porrazo pre shave, then use my brush with a mix of a shave soap and proraso, then wince at my tend skin aftershave. Being on vacation, I don’t have any of these things, so I used Gillette canned cream. It was so easy. No redness.Convert to a safety razor my femmes!

This is the 4th old-school razor I've purchased in my lifetime. The other 3 had the design where you twist the very end of the handle and the top opens up -- I think that's called the butterfly design. This one is different. You twist the top to unscrew it all the way off and a bolt goes through the middle of the standard blade. It's very interesting because when you screw it back together, it bends the blade into a curved shape. Anyway, I never noticed it before, but the standard blades have a big circle in the middle for a bolt to go through, and I gotta say, the shave is very close.Anyway, it's heavy and shiny and has a long handle and looks stylish. I like it a lot. I highly recommend.One last thing, after a shave I've been giving the top a couple of twists so the water flows through to clean the blade. That's how tight the fit is. It's not cheap or junky.
