First a disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, nor someone with that kind of vocabulary. But these probiotic tablets seem to help with gut function. In the course of recent post-surgical visit, it was strongly recommended that I look to the health/function/efficiency of my digestive tract. You know, fermented foods, yogurt, semi-weird stuff...? Oh, yum. I can report that this particular product, as I had hoped, lessened my dependence on such a regimen as that.

It seems to do some good?

Compared to many other probiotics this offers a high amount of probiotics per dollar. In general I find this to be about half the cost of most others for about the same potency, and since it offers 30 billion CPU in each tablet I actually only take one tablet per day instead of the recommended two per day. I’m taking this for daily maintenance/health purposes and not to address IBD or some other condition, so given this relatively high potency I find the amount in one tablet to be fine for my needs and obviously cuts the cost down significantly. I subscribe to a private consumer lab site that independently tests supplements to verify they contain what they say they do and that they aren’t contaminated with toxins or other harmful substances, and I am trying to get them to include this in their next probiotics study and will report back if/when they do, but for now I’ll continue to buy this for its relatively inexpensive price.

These pills smell stinky.

I started these when I was on some strong antibiotics and the pharmacist suggested I take probiotic since the antibiotic tended to kill all the good bacteria in the gut as well as the bad. These had a good rating and was alot cheaper then the ones at the drugstore. After I stopped taking the antibiotics I kept taking the probiotic since I noticed I was going to the bathroom on a more basis.
