INSPIRING
As I was concluding this book my boss told me that a previous co-worker of ours was moving in with her boyfriend and would need to find a new home for her 15 year-old cat, King. Seems that King didn’t get along with the boyfriend’s dog. This co-worker had exhausted all options, family and friends; the last option was to take King to the humane society in hopes that he would find a new, forever home. Quickly, Rebecca’s book came to life for me. Many years ago my life suddenly changed and I had two beloved kitties that were caught in the middle. Faced with no other choice than to move 1500 miles away to live with family I needed to find homes for my pets. Our lives often change and in that change we are forced to sometimes make unpopular choices about our pets. I found one home, but unfortunately, I could not find a home for my elderly cat that had health issues. I have never cried so hard after dropping him off at my local shelter. After reading the stories about each of the pets Rebecca chose to share my heart would break but it would also be warmed by the people that stepped up to rescue these animals that might have been left behind. Inspired by this book and reminded of the difficult choice I made years ago and of the good friend that helped me, I jumped at the opportunity to adopt King.Rebecca’s book will take your emotions on a roller coaster ride; I almost didn’t make it past the first chapter. But as I persevered from one story to the next, it reminded me of the special love pets bring into our lives. It was also an awakening. Years after departing with my two kitties, a new kitten entered my life and we spent 12 years together. After her passing, I couldn’t open my heart again -until this book and King. We often dismiss more mature animals because of health or behavior issues (both of which King have). But it will my honor to take care of King in his senior years as he greets me every morning and when I get home from work and as he head butts me for a pet on his head and shoulders; we will bring much needed joy into each other’s lives.

I was there, thisis so true!
Rebecca found me my dog Claire, who lived with me until she was about 18 we think. I was there when the Animal Adoption center of Jackson hole first started but I didn’t understand how much work went into what she did. I love animals, but Rebecca is a patron saint for the animals. Heartwarming. Heart crushing, and just a commentary on how we need to be with our animals, and each other!

Heartwarming, honest and fun to read
Having adopted 4 dogs in my life (two shown above) I Will Take You Home is a must read. Cupcake’s stories made me laugh out loud and cry sometimes too. The antics of her crew- all in the name of saving abandoned animals- should inspire us all. If you like saving dogs, cats, or creatures of any type, this book is for you.

Give this book a home!
Rebecca’s journey and mission is a page-turner, head-turner, and a heart-turner! As a page-turner, you won’t want to put it down! It’s an easy easy read, but a long think…about animals for sure, but also about your mission in life! It’s a head-turner…Rebecca knows how to make you think about life…yours and others! It’s a heart-turner that makes you want to get off your recliner and start making a difference in your world. She graphically paints a need and then shows you an open door of opportunity!I recommend her book not only to animal lovers, but also to those who are looking for a cause to devote their lives to. This will motivate you to find your cause…and it will likely light the flame to spur you on! By the end of the book, you’ll have no excuse! And…you’ll be looking for her sequel!

I love animals. (Being a NICU nurse for 35 years comes in a close second).

Purpose and Mission
Extremely well written and captivating! A great read and clarifying journey as to how one can find one's true purpose in life through mission. "Cupcake" brings purpose to her life long desire to "help the vulnerable and discarded" and convert it to the clarifying mission of "bringing them all home." An inspiration to anyone who desires to attempt to make our world better by moving the proverbial ten million ton rock a quarter of an inch. Buy the book, absorb the really well developed personalities and stories, and I dare you to resist the pull to look at your own capacities and ponder whether you too could make a difference...

Highly Recommend this book!!
What a wonderfully written story by a loving animal ambassador! In this book we learn through Rebecca's experiences the reality that so many animals are faced with dire circumstances that will often seal their fate. But with attention, action, dedication and love, countless animals can be saved. She gives many examples and stories of how this works. We can all learn the lessons here and be inspired to each contribute to the well being and care of animals. The stories are fun to read, even though we sometimes hear of difficult animal situations. But Rebecca's sense of humor often shines through as she recounts many of her trials and triumphs. Well done!
