Be careful
Overall, this feeder is great. The only issue I experienced was when it was raining, when birds would land on top, they slipped down and got a leg caught in the gap. I had to rescue two birds that got their legs stuck on a rainy day. Seems like the feeder shouldn’t have this gap.

Squirrel proof bird feeder
What I absolutely love is that the birds get their food now, not the squirrels.I did not install the silly little squirrel feeder halfway up. That would just give them another platform to leverage to try and get to the feeder to me. That's absolutely silly. I will use it elsewhere. I installed it different than the instructions suggest. I went ahead and put the first two parts together from the bottom and screwed in one of the poles, then used a rubber mallet to insert it into the ground. Then I went ahead and installed the squirrel proof baffle which needs to be put together and then slid onto the rod. Now in the picture in the advertisement it shows four hooks. There are simply two. Then I went ahead and screwed the third pole into place bringing it all together and inserted the top to put the bird feeders. The squirrel's nibble anything that the birds knock out, but because they can jump there's absolutely silly to install another plant for for them below. Again, that is an absolutely ridiculous thought and I will utilize it. Other places certainly not on this particular feeder unit. It's not a sturdy as I'd hope as the ground at my place is super silty but it has remained through wind and weather and not a squirrel has bothered the bird food which was my exact intent because squirrels can be pigs and I can't afford to feed them.If it were a little sturdier and had the four hooks versus the two like is advertised, I would give them all five stars

Hard to figure out
Hard to put together, no directions just a picture of the parts- trying to get the baffle together will have you pulling your hair out- after 2 days of putting it all together, it still was not very sturdy: the feeders that were supplied are small and now I see why, can’t be too heavy for the stand. Picture makes it look like the perfect stand but I have a feeling these smart squirrels would have gotten around the baffle if there was a way

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
This is the first bird feeder that actually does keep squirrels out! All the others hang down from a branch or such and the squirrels shimmy down the connector. Noy this one it works exactly like they say. Our squirrels had gotten so fat they were no longer healthy, now we can control what they get and no waste either. The poles lock together and are sturdy, the baffle seems lightweight but works.Next year this will be a gift that finds its way to good friends and family. Also it is easy to refill. Just follow the directions on where to place it and sit back and watch so many birds having their dinner.

It works
The media could not be loaded. I was spending a lot of money on birdseed bc the squirrels were always climbing up the pole and stealing all the food. Now the squirrels eat off the ground and out of their little bowl that comes with it. The birds seem much happier about it too. I hung one of the feeders that came with it somewhere else and used one of my old feeders on this one. I feel like the one feeder that has the metal screen loses a lot of seed that falls out of it to the ground, but at least it gives the squirrels something and bigger birds that are too big for the feeder. Woodpeckers love the metal feeder. Maybe I just need bigger seeds for that one.

Squirrels tried but haven't got to the feeders
I enjoyed this product from the first day we used it!!! The squirrels still come but now they eat the seeds dropped by the birds. Everyone seems happy, including me!! (However, a bear came through our yard and snapped it in half. I'm now researching whether I can get parts for this.)

Nice yard addition
I liked the squirrel feeder to discourage them from trying to climb the feeder. This feeder has several types so you can attract more than a few species of birds. Only dislike is that a few of the feeders are pretty narrow for corn cobs or cylinder suets.
