Well compact and everything you need to get started. Love it

The rod was way sturdier than I expected at this price point. Not rock solid but good enough for hunters and casual shooters. This is the perfect “bare minimum” kit for cleaning shotgun barrels and mag tubes. The carbon pick/scraper was the cherry on top. 10/10 recommend. Pair this with a good shotgun bore solvent, lube, and a corrosion inhibitor and you’re all set to keep your shotgun in immaculate condition.

I used the cleaning kit today for the first time. I’m impressed with the quality of it and really-REALLY like the compact size. Way better than my old cleaning kit in a clunky plastic box. The rod is much smaller and isn’t as sturdy as the 20 year old rods but again it’s very adequate. I’d give it 5 stars except for just ONE thing. The cleaning brush is about 1/2 inch too long to tuck comfortably in the pouch. It’s almost like it was an afterthought to incorporate it into the kit. I’m afraid it will tear its internal retention pouch way too soon. I may just opt to leave it out of the kit
