I wasn't looking for anything serious, just a little something that I could do a quick repair on some clothes with and this fit the bill perfectly. This sewing kit is the perfect size for travel or to give to a college student. It is compact but it contains so many items! It has a nice selection of thread colors, contains buttons, safety pins, tape measure, nice needles (not el cheap ones that can hardly be used), and a tape measure, among other things. The very best part of this kit? THE SCISSORS! These are ACTUAL STAINLESS SCISSORS, not little crappy ones that cannot be used. I hit the jackpot with this kit!

I love this kit! I HATE SEWING but I hate running errands too so I never take things in to be sewn. This kit is great- it has the scissors, needle threader and lots of needles. It was so easy to sew up a couple of things I'd torn the seam on. I wish it had WHITE thread, but everything else is awesome. Thanks for a thoughtful product!

This is so compact and lightweight that I can toss it in my purse and be ready to take care of any minor repair, whenever I'm away from home. In the past, I have worked as a professional seamstress and really appreciate the variety of thread colors, the mini-seam ripper, the thimble that actually fits my finger, and the 2 needle threaders as my eyes aren't what they used to be when it comes to threading needles anymore. The scissors are nice and sharp, just as they need to be. Even the tape measure, with cm and mm on one side and inches with 8ths on the other, appears to be of quality construction with no loose threads peeling off the sides. Everything is securely packed away in this compact kit and everything is in its own special space. Three spools each of black and white thread, plenty of pearl headed pins, black and white buttons and a packet of safety pins, a few dozen needles of different sizes; the kit is complete and has everything you need. The zipper works freely. What a great find and a super buy. This falls into my "best purchase" category. I'm glad I found it

I just had one button I needed to sew on a shirt that was missing one. Could not find a needle anywhere in the house. Since I am now single again I figured I might has well pick up a kit. This one fit the bill perfectly. It's perfect for about any repair I might need and be capable of making. Comes in a nice case and everything is organized - which I like a lot.I don't know that much about sewing kits, but everything seems to be of decent quality and now I know where to go when I need to sew something.Nice kit for the money.

I've had several sewing kits and so far this is my favorite. It's just the right size for the essentials. The only thing I don't like is the cheap threads. I removed the color bobbins I know I'll never use and filled in the space with more black and white. I also added some self-threading needles and some assorted size snap fasteners. Now I have a complete and portable sewing kit that fits my needs.

Very nice, all inclusive, compact, and everything is held in place nicely so that when you open it, nothing spills out. And it DOES have every item you would need in case of a 'wardrobe malfunction'!This is a really good little kit, especially for the money.

I bought the first one of these when it was a Lightening Deal So that I'd have all the essentials needed for a quick repair when one of my parrots bites a hole in my clothing. Mischievous little trouble makers! Since they won't fix what they break, I have to, and it's nice to have an easy-to-store kit handy. I've had this for awhile but didn't realize until I had to use it today that I've never written a review for it. To the seller, I apologize.The case is very compact, easy to open with a zipper closure (I have severe arthritis and have a really hard time with any kind of snap closure), and all the items are held in place with individual elastics sewn into the case. The kit is basic but has most everything needed for repairs: assorted sizes of needles, 16 spools of assorted colors of thread [including 2 extra of white and black], scissors, seam ripper in a separate holder [no finger pricks!], needle threader, measuring tape, a few small safety pins, and even a few small buttons and a thimble! For me it's rare I need a measuring tape or ruler but when I do it's nice to always have a measuring tape handy.I keep one in my purse, glove compartment, and in my counted cross stitch storage box. I noticed several comments about the poor quality of the tools but sewing essentials are expensive and it would cost me a lot more to make my own tool kit so this isn't a big deal for me.When a friend visited with me for a few days she used the kit and loved it so I gave her one of mine, so I'll be ordering perhaps a larger size to replace it. The only thing that's inconvenient is the kit only came with only one needle threader [I don't know if this one should have had 2 like what I see in the newer sets] and that one was broken. I rely heavily on this tool because my hands are numb from arthritis. Another suggestion is to have less very small, thin needles and instead include a few thicker needles that I think would be useful for something like sewing on most buttons.

This is a good quality compact sewing kit for a very reasonable price.

This kit has helped me save so many cloths. It is great and i no longer have to hunt to find anything i need. I love how small this is and that i can take it traveling with me or at home. it take up no space at all. the only thing is its hard to find replacement thread so i just refill the spools it comes with .

This is a nice kit to have for quick fixes that are simple. The kit is fairly small so it fits well in my travel bag. However, the items in the kit vary in terms of quality. The scissors, and the seam ripper, for example, feel and work really well. But the needles that are included are cheap since 2 already broke my first time using them. Good thing is that there are more than 2 needles included with this kit. The thread quality is ok would recommend doubling up though.

I liked the assortment of sewing items in the kit. I have yet to use it but look forward to using it.
