I read in one of the caravan articles that in some European countries they are moving to V-16 approved beacons instead of the reflective triangles. This is small enough to fit in the glove box and will stick to the roof, or side of the car by magnets meaning you do not have to get out in a busy road to put a triangle warning in your lane. It is quite bright even in day light but you will need to keep an eye on the batteries. They last a long time in use but no good if they have gone flat just sitting in the glove box waiting to be used.

This twin pack of KRASER KR4V16NP2 emergency flashing beacons are excellent performers. They are not the cheapest but they are surely the brightest on the market in this price range. They are sturdily built and replacing batteries is so easy (no tools required and changed in seconds!)If a breakdown emergency arises in your car, these lamps are quick to fit on your car and are activated with a single button press. In a breakdown scenario, these can be a lifesaver! A superb product!

The media could not be loaded. Emergency warning light is very bright, and buttons are made for soft rubber with I really like.Magnet is quite strong, even on my white board holds on.I really recommend this warning light, and I believe that in an emergency situation it will do great job!

The orange light on this is awesome. It’s really bright and ideal for what I need it for. The only let down are the magnets. These are three teeny magnets and not very strong at all - in fact I wouldn’t drive off with it on or it’ll be gone. Could really do with a bigger single magnet on the bottom. For that reason, I’ve knocked a star off. Shame.

Small, sturdy, very bright warning light that can be kept in the glove box for that emergency you hope will never happen. Small price to pay for what could be a life saver on a winters night.

Rest good quality product. Shame it hasn’t got a remote option.

Fantastic just right for my mobility scooter.

This is well-built, with the only potential weakness being the hook if you plan to use it in a tent. However, since I’m only using it in the car, this wasn’t an issue for me.
