One Percent of You

Minor grammar issues but still an AMAZING story
I loved this book. One Percent of You is a feel-good, fluffy romance that had me swooning. Elijah was just perfect and Hadley was incredible. My ONLY complaint was the minor grammar issues (things like missing punctuation, odd sentence structure, and run on sentences). Luckily, it didn't take me out of the story too much, so I still thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Beautiful slow burn
I read this a full year ago on KU, and had immediately purchased the paperback and audiobook. I finally got around to listening to the audiobook just now, and omg it was just as good as the first time I finished the story! Easily a 5 star read and listen!H is in his early 30s and h is 21 when they meet. She is a single mom with a 3 year old daughter and is currently pregnant. Right after she found out she was pregnant again with her son, she caught her ex cheating with her COUSIN! So yeah, buh bye to that loser. The first time the H and h met, he was super judgmental about the young, haggard looking mom, but he changed his tune the more he got to know her because, it turns out, she’s so strong and so good and such an amazing mom. I loved how he went from a grumpy, mean, intimidating dude, to really caring for her and her little family and wishing her daughter was his daughter. He wanted to claim that little family as his own, and I loooooooooooved how they turned that friendship into a deep relationship.-Slow burn, like 70% slow burn, but spicy when they get there and very much worth it.-OM drama. h doesn’t get back with her cheating ex, but he keeps popping up and trying to manipulate her to take him back. She doesn’t let that fly.-lact@t!0n k!nk. If you know, you know.-Super sweet HEA

One percent of you... I see what you did there. Lol
Why isnt this more popular?? I was pleasantly surprised. Amazing novel... clever naming of the book as well. Women are soooo much more than mothers and it's good to see that portrayed.

love it
This is the first book I read from this author and it did not disappoint. The book follows Hadley and Elijah. This book is about a single mom who gets cheated on by her boyfriend. Right after she finds out she’s pregnant with their second child. to find a more you have to read but if you love single mom, age gap, lactation kink, and Slow burn this book is for you.

that was adorable
Definitely grumpy/sunshine with a snarky little girl.Hadley is raising her daughter and pregnant with her son all while working night shift and going to school to be a nurse. She has a lot on her plate when Elijah first interacts with her. Elijah is a grumpy bachelor who doesn’t like kids. You wouldn’t think Hadley and Elijah would become anything but grumpy neighbors. But with the help of a snarky little girl, Elijah grows fond of Hadley and her kids. This is just a sweet little romance story. There is a breastfeeding kink which surprised me because I didn’t know people were into that. But whatever floats your boat! Now I want a half sleeve tattoo. Thanks a lot Elijiah and Hadley!

I'd give it way more than 5* if i could
Why did i wait so long to read this book?? This book got me out of a slump, 4 DNFs in a row and i knew i'd love it before i even finished the prologue, before the MCs even met.I LOVED it! Elijah is incredibly dreamy and Hadley is such an amazing h. I loved how parenting was explored in this book, so so realistic. I could relate quite a few times. So Hadley is a pregnant young mom. She's doing it all - work, school, kid, pregnancy. She is fiercely independent and doesn't like asking for help. She meets her neighbor, the H Elijah, who owns 2 tattoo palors, full of tattoos himself and grumpy af. He doesn't like kids. At all. He scares Lucy, the h's daughter the first time he sees her. But somehow, Lucy, succeeds in wrapping him around her finger."I couldn’t deny it anymore. I wanted that. I wanted them. With me. As my family. I wanted Hadley—all pieces of her."“I’m scared, too, Hadley, but not the way you think. My fear comes from your not giving me a chance before we even begin.”"I took a second and stared down at Lucy as I tucked the blanket under her chin. Something in my heart swelled, and there was no questioning it. I loved her and caught myself on more than one occasion wishing she was mine."Oh. My. Heart 🥰🥰🥰 is there something sweeter, more swoony than the H that loves h's babies with all his heart, even when they're not his?

Sweet single parent romance
This is a delightfully sweet single parent romance book. I liked that it was dual POV, so we could get to know Elijah and Hadley, who are cute main characters. This was needed because together, I don't think they ever spent any time alone not discussing the kids - would a date night really have been too much? The story didn't blow me away, and I was surprised when I realised I'd got to the end, but the prologue was lovely.I could have done without the constant “God bless America” (Hadley says this instead of cursing)... maybe it’s because I'm from the UK, but it felt like someone was trying to brainwash me with subliminal messaging. Also, “fudge” was used A LOT - for me, the author could have been more creative with this.I'm undecided on how I feel about the milk-drinking... that was... different?

Smouldering Slow Burn Romance
This was a lovely smouldering slow burn romance that doesn't catch fire until well past halfway through the story but boy when it does it will give you blisters it was so hot. it had to be like that because Hadley had been badly hurt by her low life ex boyfriend and baby daddy Scott. Hadley was off men when she met her new neighbour Elijah and they didn't exactly hit it off after he scared her daughter Lucy by taking the last of the potato chips off of her in the supermarket isle. I knocked off a star because of the what I call the lactose incident which I found uncomfortable about. the names Elijah and Eli were too alike that I kept mixing up who's who in my mind but apart from that I enjoyed it

perfection
5 beautiful ⭐️ for this perfect book.I read this on recommendation from a friend who also absolutely loved it. I’m used to reading and loving single dad books but for some reason have never read single mum, oh how I loved it so much. I along with Hadley swooned at this tattooed strong man who doesn’t like kids absolutely falling in love with hers along with her and becoming this perfect family unit.I loved Lucy and Elijah being so scared of Eli made me laugh out loud. Hadley deserved better and I’m so glad she got that with Elijah, they made the perfect family. I stayed up all night reading because I couldn’t put this down!

Feelgood story.
3.5 stars. This was a cute heartwarming story. Hadley is a timid hardworking single mum and Elijah is her tattooed neighbour. They get off on the wrong foot and opposites attract! A couple of thoughts: I thought it was a bit unrealistic how well Lucy spoke given she was only 4 and Hadley always saying 'God Bless America' and 'fudge' as an alternative to swearing was a bit overused but overall I enjoyed the book. No real conflict or drama except bits from her ex and his family so I feel it could've used a bit more plot in that sense. The story was more about Hadley gaining confidence in herself and Elijah thawing at having a ready made family.
