Kudos GtG!Delivery/ShippingIt took more than 2 weeks before I got it, tho I got the item as advertised and in good condition. So, I guess it's worth the wait.

Great addition to the game

Pretty much for Spirit Island completionists only -- you *really* have to love the game to get down to this particular expansion, which adds four *very* complex spirits, each with super unusual aspects. But if you've played SI a bunch of times and feel very comfortable with the complex spirits, then this package is right up your alley with spirits that are so unusual, they actually change the nature of the game not only for you but for the other players as well.For example, one of the new spirits can connect any part of the island to any other for purposes of... well... anything. That turns the whole island into a four-dimensional maze that can be brain-breaking if you don't know the game really well. Another new spirit is a very powerful offensive fire spirit, but rapidly spreads blight across the board as it attacks so requires some management by every player.If this sounds awesome to you, then by all means pick this up, or if you have a friend who has everything else for SI, then this is a good last thing to challenge them with. It also includes a few new cards of various types to add to the other decks that aren't nearly as wacky as the four included spirits. :-D

Really enjoy the spirits included in this mini expansion, and would recommend for those who enjoy some table-wide conversations and complicated choices.The slumbering serpent spirit and paths unseen hummingbird spirit really change the dynamic of the game for everyone at the table. Would recommend grabbing this after the expansions as the bang for the buck might be a bit better on the full expansions.

This game has a learning curve and might not be the easiest or fastest thing to pick up, but it’s lots of fun once everyone understands it. Might be a bit too much for a younger child though. Anyhow, this is an EXPANSION of the core game, meaning you want the base game and to make sure you enjoy the base game before you buy this. If you already like the base game this offers additional content and is worth the purchase, but I do not view this as an essential buy and thus cannot get there on the full five stars. As with the rest of the products associated with this game, lovely artwork and high quality materials considering the price point.

I’m biased due to Spirit Island obsession, but I love this expansion as much as the rest of the game. Each spirit gives a unique experience and each replay is captivating even if you’ve played the spirits a dozen times (…I have). Highly recommended for those who love the base game.
