This stuff is so easy to use and worked surprisingly well! I wanted to upgrade my old silver light fixture to gold to match mynew decor, and was able to do it SO easily with this. I didn’t even need to sand down the chrome (although that may have helped) or remove the light from the ceiling. I did two coats with the one small bottle provided- a little bit goes a long way so make sure you add scarcely and build if needed! I ended up using a small foam paintbrush which worked very well for application. I also tried a regular small paint brush and rag which both worked okay, but for this type of project found the foam worked best. The color is a nice, bright gold and was very affordable (much cheaper than a new light! haha). I will be trying it out on other things around the house (door hinges, etc). Great value and product!

I have used this product multiple times to change the color of thrift store finds. Easy to use and looks great. Price is good and totally changes look of frames and other items quick.

This stuff is magic. Completely restored an antique ornate picture frame. As long as you get the right color it is very easy to work with- I would say full proof even. A little goes a very long way. I needed it for most of a very large frame and there’s hardly a dent in the tube.

I painted my kitchen cabinets and replaced the knobs/pulls. But the old hinges did not match the new knobs/pulls. I used Rub and Buff to transform my dull ugly hinges to a nice brass that matches my new hardware. Easy, money saving and perfect for metal! I highly recommend this product. I now want to buy the other metal finishes for more projects.

My gold bar is ready to go. It's easy to turn a small cardboard box into Fort Knox.I bought this, and antique gold, to use on picture frames for my paintings.Now, I want a full palette of artist colors beyond just the metallic finishes.

I ordered GOLD, but when I want to make it look more antique, I just add a little Waverly dark wax on top and polish it with a microfiber cloth. It's a bit pricy, but it lasts a long time and you can use it for numerous projects!

So little of this goes such a long way. It’s easy to use and dries quickly.

Doesn’t work on all surfaces but it works fantastic on metal! Didn’t work on a picture frame :(
