I was a little skeptical when I read the one and two star reviews. But, I decided to purchase it anyway because I wanted a plain (no print) curtain. The curtain was thick and the two panels stayed very close together ( the other $19 curtain I bought had a 2-3 inches gap in the middle and the fabric was much thinner). Also, get a good quality rod (one for $15, not the Two for 15$ kind of product).Give it a try. You can always return it If you’re not happy with it.

These Japanese curtains are simply beautiful. I was looking at some of the reviews before I purchased them and I read several that people complained that they were not split down the middle. The only thing that I can imagine is that back in 2022 the curtains were not pre-split down the middle, allow me to update you....now you do get them pre-slip down the middle already when you get them. The material that they are made out of is perfectly soft and firm at the same time. I initially purchased 2 and then came back for 2 more. I highly recommend them. Again, don't know what the issues were in 2022 but whatever it was it is now gone in 2023.

These are shiny and look like the super cheap fabric made out of old PET plastic bottles. They have no drape, the curtain backing is strange on a noren, they look bad and they feel bad. Not worth the $29 - these are going back.

Color is uniform and the cloth itself is thick and sturdy. Stitching was perfectly uniform and it hangs flat after smoothing out the folds. It's much better than the older thinner noren curtain that I was using. Highly recommend.
