Great Little Flares
I can't comment too much on the intricacies of these little guys, but I will say that in the times that I have used them, they have worked very well. The battery has held up as long as I have needed them to. My tire blew up on the freeway, in the middle of nowhere, at night, so I put some of these up the road a little bit as a warning to oncoming traffic, that I was there, and stuck one to the back of my car so they could see it at night, while I changed my tire. They are pretty bright, at night you can see them from quite a distance, and during the day, they may not work for getting attention, but I am sure you could still see the light. I took these on a hike through the back woods of Yosemite, in case of something awful happening, which looking back on was a bit overkill, but hey, at least I had flares if I would've needed them. I have hooked them to my friends bags during late night hikes, so I can see them from a distance, there is even 3 little white LEDs on the face of the device that can be used as a flashlight, and I have used that in my tent as a tent light, or held it in my hand to make sure I don't step on an angry snake or something. I keep them in my car when I am not doing anything super adventurous, and they hang out in my trunk, in their little orange back, perfectly happy when not in use. Overall: No complaints yet, but I haven't actually needed to use them too much, thank god. But every time they have been used they are the perfect solution. TL;DR Great little light disks, perfect for what I needed them for.

Important addition to any road/vehicle safety kit.
This product is so good that when they were stolen, amongst many other items, out of my garage they were one of the first things I bought with the insurance claim money. They are a must have in any vehicle/road safety kit. The LED flares are bright, there are several different flashing patterns, including SOS and a steady white light that comes from three white LEDs on the top. The magnets are strong, the lights are bright, they are thin enough to fit 6 in one of the bags they come in, but are also thick enough to work on the ground. They come in a 3 pack, so I bought two. Like I said above, you can fit all 6 in one of the orange bags that they comes with. I use the other orange back for other safety items I have in my car.

Very bright for roadside problems
These roadside emergency lights seem plenty bright, and tough enough to do the job. I prefer these lights to use instead of flares, but have both just in case. I like the magnet on the back, and the light alternatives are numerous and should get attention from other drivers quickly. Don't know how long the batteries will last, so will likely change them at least once per year no matter if not used. Will most likely get a set for several family members. Very easy to use. Update, as of Jan 2020, I purchased another set for a family member. They saw the value of having the lights, even if they also have flares. The flares burn out fairly quickly, while these lights can go for hours if needed. Update 9-15-19, just received a second pack of these roadside lights to supplement any potential use of flares. The idea being that flares have a more limited time frame to produce lighting along the road. Update 10-5-19, I have ordered more of these for my family. I think they are so easy to use that my friends and family should just keep a pack in the vehicle at all times.

Sturdy, easy to use, very visible
Great little product. Bought for car after sliding into the ditch on a very icey curve and not having a way to warn oncoming traffic. They seem solidly constructed and are easy to use. The built in magnet and hanger make the built in LED flashlight useful for using hands-free. Took away one star because I thought one of the three that I bought was defective but it ended up being shipped with nearly dead batteries. I replaced the batteries and it worked fine. I would also recommend replacing them with lithium batteries as these are likely to (hopefully!) sit in your car unused for several years and the cheap alkaline batteries are likely to corrode and be dead when you need them. I liked these well enough to buy them for our other vehicles. The additional ones also shipped with one set of nearly dead batteries but overall I would still recommend this for your car emergency kit.
