Great Entry Level Camera Mic
As a beginner filmmaker, I’ve been making short films with my friends and family, and I needed a reliable mic to improve my audio quality. I’ve been using this shotgun mic on my Canon 90D, and it’s been a great starting point for me.While it's definitely not professional-grade audio, especially in noisy environments, for the price, it’s a solid entry-level option. It’s easy to set up and works well for basic filming needs. The sound quality is clear enough for most of my videos, and it’s made a noticeable difference compared to using the built-in mic on the camera. For anyone just starting out and on a budget, this mic is a great way to improve your audio without breaking the bank. It’s a good balance of performance and affordability, and it’s been a great addition to my gear collection as I continue learning and growing in filmmaking!

Couldn't find a flaw whatsoever
This review is NOT sponsored. It is completely unbiased and honest.Comparing this mic with Rode VideoMicro? This is better considering it's cheaper and there is not much of a difference. It has been more than a year since I bought this.Packaging: The packaging of this product is normal just like any other product has. It does have all the items and parts listed in the description.Recording Quality: I have used a lot of mics in this range and this has by far the best quality. Even compared to VideoMicro, this is on par with it in every aspect, not only recording quality. The voice comes out a little bit thinner compared to VideoMicro, but that is just a preference different people have.Noise Cancellation: Noise cancellation is also great unless you are in a street with people honking on your face. Indoors, there will be no complaints since I haven't had any yet and it has been more than a year so... It comes with a Wind muff for those of you who record outdoors or if you're vloggers. The wind muff helps but even if you don't have it on, wouldn't make much of a difference.Shock Mount: I have seen reviews that mentioned the shock mount being very fragile and breaking easily. NO, if you are using it the way it is instructed, you won't have any problems at all. You just have to push it from the middle onto the mic for a safe installation of the shock mount.Overall: It is no different from the Rode VideoMicro, at least you won't feel a difference if you are not a music creator or something. Rode is a well-known company so they might have better customer service but I am not sure since I haven't used either of their customer service.

Excellent microphone! Slightly flimsy stand..
The sound quality from this is excellent! My only issue is one of the little red stands/holders broke in a few places while I was trying to figure out how it worked and had to be glued back together. Still, it's a pretty great mic for the price point (The only one I found with better ratings was $200+)

Great little Mic
This review is sort of a preliminerary mini review for The Movo VXR10 Universal Video Microphone as I have not given it a full run for a long time or put it through the kind of tests I would like to. However when I opened the box and took it out the first thing that jumped at me was the design. Its a perfect little shotgun Mic. The dead cat is fuzzy and fits snug agaisnt the mic. The mic has a nice light weight to it so as not to take up too much space and will not weigh down a day pack or any other pack. Toss it in and go. For the newer Cell phones you will need a 3.5 mm to lightening adapter ( no biggie) - It did come with an extra cable which I thought was nice to throw in to the box. so if one breaks or gets lost- there is a backup. Good thinking and sales MOVO. Upon first uses of this little shotgun mic- I noticed imediately that it did what I wanted it for. It took away the backround hiss the built in mic on the iphone 7 makes when in video record mode. ( awful Apple Iphone 7 MICS from what I hear have been a common con- tisk tisk apple- shame on you for making exception products that have overlooked flaws and we consumers spend so much money on your products only to wind up getting the dirty end of the stick because we have to then spend more money on better phones with upgraded tech.- TISK TISK) Anyway I digress. Did a little video with my son at a Musik festival and it performed wonderfully. Nice crisp vocal recording even though the backround music was loud it did came out just as good as my sons words. All in all this product was a worthwhile investment so far. I have one more test I will be putting it through at somepoint soon. which is why at this time I only gave it three stars for noise cancelling. But in the meantime. I love the quality of this product. Definitely happy with it. and glad I did not spend the same amount on the Rode model of the simlar product. To Movo- Please consider me for product testing in the future :)sincerly a happy customer

good sound for the outside rec
I recorded an interview outdoors, and my wireless microphones failed, so I had to use this microphone. It did the job 150% perfectly, even though I bought it mostly for the visual look — I just needed something furry on my camera
