Attractive, lightweight, quality, recommended at the price
Having used the Keychron K3 for the past four months in a professional office environment, I've come to appreciate this compact, portable mechanical keyboard for its functionality, aesthetics, and the comfortable typing experience it provides. Firstly, the optical brown switch configuration lends a significantly quiet yet tactile typing experience, ideal for shared workspaces where noise can be a concern. The auditory feedback is negligible, but the feel under your fingertips will assure you of each keystroke. The battery life on the Keychron K3 is another big win. With regular usage, I found that a single charge could easily sustain me through a full five-day workweek, eliminating the need for constant charging or battery swaps. It's a reliable companion for a busy work schedule. In terms of aesthetics, the Keychron K3 is impressive. Its look is understated and professional without screaming 'gaming keyboard.' In fact, I've received numerous compliments on its look during my usage at work. The The compact design also adds to its portability, making it easy to transport between locations, a must-have feature for anyone on the move. Multi-device Bluetooth connectivity is a standout feature. The keyboard was able to seamlessly connect and switch between different devices. This functionality proved invaluable, allowing me to quickly move between different work laptops without having to set up the Bluetooth connection each time. However, no product is without its flaws, and the Keychron K3 is no exception. Initially, the Bluetooth connection would drop after just a few minutes of inactivity. I resolved this issue by disabling sleep mode, using the keyboard shortcut provided on the manufacturer's website. Additionally, I noticed a slight wiggle with the keys. This didn’t affect typing performance, although it could be a point of concern for those who prefer a solid, immovable keycap feel. To conclude, despite its minor issues, the Keychron K3 has proven to be an excellent addition to my workspace. For a price tag of $69.00, it provides a high-quality, quiet, and tactile typing experience that I highly recommend, especially for those seeking to improve their productivity in an office setting. It's lightweight, portable, and exudes a professional appeal, all the while delivering on performance and battery life. However, potential buyers should be aware of its initial Bluetooth connectivity issues and slight keycap instability.

Great keyboard, but not for beginners
TL;DR: I REALLY like this keyboard, especially once you add different switches and keycaps, but it didn't work out because my accuracy sucks. Definitely not for beginners. Long review: I got the optical reds with this keyboard and it's definitely not for me since I'm a heavy typist. It's just too sensitive so I got the orange and bananas (yellow) optical switches to try them out. I do like the oranges but the ping on some of the switches is too dang loud and annoying so I settled with the bananas (yellow). Once I got them to my liking, it's time to test drive the keyboard. I'm not a typist per day but I can type. Not 100% accurate though, and that's where my problems arose. When I do make a mistake, I will almost 50% of the time would hit the "page up" instead of the backspace.. I do use "del" a lot as well and would hit the light switch instead.. If you're competent and have 99% accuracy when you type, it may work for you. Otherwise, get the K1 DE (what I did instead).

Good keyboard with some caveats
I bought this keyboard on Prime day, at ~$70 is hard to beat given there is no competitors at this price (Nuphy Air 75 cost ~$130 and Logi MX Mech Mini cost $150+) Thanks to Amazon's generous return policy I was able to test other switches as well, below are pros/cons: Pros: 1. Good price. At $70, as a low profile hot swappable Mech keyboard, it has no competitors. 2. Decent layout. It is much smaller than a regular keyboard or a TKL keyboard, the right shift key is a bit small but I got used to it quickly 3. Good ergo. Thanks to its low profile nature, it is much lower than the regular keyboard which your wrist can rest on the desk naturally. The key distance is much shorter which is good for people typed a lot 4. Good switch: It seems the Brown switch issue was fixed, as I don't have typos when rest my fingers on the keyboard. The mint switches are even better. Cons: 1. No White color (it's only available on keychron.com, which you need to pay $20 shipping and they have poor customer service) 2. Non-standard keycaps. The long keycaps (Enter / Backspace / Right Shift / Space key) has non-standard layout so you can not use your own keycaps. 3. Backlight button on top-right, and you can't customize it. It would be much better use combo key to enable backlight, almost all other brands are doing that. 4. Poor customer support: Don't get me wrong, Amazon has great customer service and the return policy is great, however customer support from keychron.com is another story, it's email only and it took 4~5 days for them to respond 5. No good clicky/linear switches: Due to its low-profile nature, linear switches lead to tons of typos (even for Black switches), and click switches (K3 only support hotswappable optical) sound weird, I tried both blue and orange and they all have the strange mush sound when typing. The gateron low profile blue ones sound much better but they are not supported. Overall, if you are looking for a good low profile hotswappable Mech Keyboard, and you like tactile switches, K3 is a good choice. If you like clicky switches, go with Gateron low profile blue. If you like linear switches, go with regular profile keyboard, low profile + linear switches is a weird combo and it's a typo hell.

Typing is smooth and quite enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a home office.

Firstly, what I like. The product is obviously build to last. The feel is good when I’m typing with it. It’s compact but includes the four important keys, page up, page down, home and end. Then what I don’t like. I would give it a five star if not for the short battery life. The keyboard can only last one week even though I turn off the backlit because I have no use of that function. I can live with that by charging it whenever I remember but it’s really annoying to have yet another device to charge frequently.
