Bag Sealer

We were not thrilled that instructions were NOT in English (bought in USA, so seller loses half star), or that enclosed batteries were DOA (another half star lost) but our rechargeable batteries do work.Still, it is a clever gadget, pictures were quite helpful, and it does truly do a good job sealing. As others noted, 1) the battery cover must be slipped back a millimeter or so to expose the heating element. That's not necessarily a design flaw. You wouldn't want the sealer to heat up and engage when not intended to be used. 2) There is a faint odor of heated plastic that quickly dissipates 3) the device not only seals bag, but also cuts (via heating element) excess bag. It takes a few tries to get comfortable with the sealer, but totally worth it.

This doesn’t compare to a regular food sealer but it is good for small things. Like sealing chip bags.

I just love this sealer. Not only does it save me money on plastic bags but also it helps keep my food fresh. Its super easy to use and I can store it on any magnetic surface.

This chip sealer is a great option for those who are smackers and will have multiple bags open at the same time. I think it works pretty good, sometimes you have to go over it a few times to get an airtight seal that’s why I am rating it 4 stars. It does take a little practice to get it. I do like that it has a magnetic side which is great to just stick it to the side of the fridge so it doesn’t get lost.

I bought it for one reason and using it for another. It's sealing capability is NOT that great. I press the sealed bag and I can still feel air escaping. It seals it maybe 95% which is not bad. I really do like the little knife that comes attached to it though. I have been using that for opening packages and other misc things.

This product does not seal thick plastic bags whatsoever. Only thin kinds like snack packs etc. I really expected more from this product.

The built-in knife is super sharp and it cuts with ease. It also sealed the bags really well it’s better to buy battery than USB.
