this is a powerful magnet
i use it to find nails in the gravel driveway. recently lost a springs from a clutch and was able to find it using the magnet attached to a rope and swinging it over the gravel. it it so strong it is some times difficult to detatch. i have found a lot of nails, staples. pins, etc. i even use it to hold open a door by attaching it to the deadbolt and the rope in a handy drawer.

These magnets are amazing
I bought these magnets to make a removable base instead of a bolted down base for my 5th Wheel Trailer King Pin Latch Cable Bracket. The magnets are powerful and will do the job perfectly. Now, I can move the Latch Cable Bracket from one position to another without drilling any new holes or using any wrenches. The bracket is as secure as if it was bolted, but with a little extra effort, I can slide it or move it to another location.

It’s a magnet.
They have a flimsy coating that’s already bubbling. I’m sure it will be flaking off in no time. Got these as starters for my son and husband. They were both thrilled. They have a pretty decent hold but not as much attraction as I would have thought. We’ll have to see how they do. I thought they would have trouble dislodging higher power ones but I’m thinking they will want to upgrade soon.

Oh My!! These are some serious magnets for their size!
Wow! The two magnets come packaged together with a thick plastic spacer separating them but they were clearly held together by their magnetic field. Well, DON'T do what I did..... I took the plastic spacer out and put them back together. WHAM!!!! It took two flathead screwdrivers, a hammer, and two people to pry them apart! I even tried to slide them off but I could not budge them. More good advice, watch your fingers when you have these near each other.

Strong magnets! Be careful.
These are very strong magnets. I bought them to hold up a pocketed folder holder on a white board in my classroom. The old magnets would just slide down the white board once I stuck them on. Not these things. You have to be careful not to bring them too close together or they will definitely snap together and pinch your fingers. They work great!
