This Power Strip is Amazing
So I was looking for a power strip and I needed something with plenty of outlets, good cord length and overall good quality toughness. I decided on this power strip and I have owned it for quite some time. The outlets on this power strip can swivel to allow for larger plugs, different shaped plugs and for ease of access/detachment for any plug of almost any shape. This has helped me fit plugs to these outlets in an organized manner without have to keep the corners or "big areas" on most power strips for oddly shaped plugs. It works great attached to the bottom of my desk and isn't too bulky, just a little chubby but honestly it is fine. It powers my devices and my pc just fine. If I need another one of these, I am definitely buying another one as this thing is outstanding overall.

Excellent for organizing a messy cable setup
This surge protector made a huge difference in my cable management. Before, I had several power strips and adapters crowded together, with cables crossing everywhere. The rotating outlets and spacious design made it much easier to accommodate bulky plugs and organize everything in one place. My setup now looks much cleaner, more organized, and easier to access. I’ve included before-and-after photos—the improvement speaks for itself. Highly recommended for anyone managing multiple chargers, adapters, and electronic devices in a small space.

Great design and very practical
I really like this Belkin surge protector. The rotating outlets make a big difference when you have bulky chargers and adapters because you can actually use the spaces without everything getting in the way. It feels solid and well made, and the cord is long enough for my setup. I’m using it for several electronics and everything stays organized instead of having cables everywhere. Definitely one of the better power strips I’ve owned.

My favorite power strip!
I’ve been using this product for years now and it’s been a solid part of my AV setup, hosting my gaming consoles and a bunch of other devices. It has 12 outlets total which is a lot and the rotating (pivot) outlets are my favorite feature making it much easier to fit awkwardly shaped plugs without fighting for space like you do with a traditional power strip. I’ve never had any issues with power surges, which tells me the surge protection is doing its job effectively, and that’s given me good peace of mind over time. Belkin is a brand I trust, and considering how long this has lasted and how often it gets used (all day every day), it’s more than paid for itself. I highly recommend if you want something reliable that can power a bunch of devices.

Belkin Surge Protector Power Strip w/ 8 Rotating & 4 Standard Outlets
I recently purchased the Belkin Surge Protector Power Strip, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and functionality. Here’s why I highly recommend this product: Versatile Outlets: The power strip features a total of 12 outlets, with 8 rotating and 4 standard outlets. The rotating outlets are particularly useful for accommodating bulky adapters and plugs, allowing for a more organized and efficient use of space. This design ensures that you can plug in multiple devices without any obstruction. Long, Sturdy Extension Cord: The 8-foot cord is robust and offers plenty of reach, making it easy to position the power strip exactly where you need it. The sturdy build of the extension cord provides confidence that it can withstand frequent use and potential wear and tear. Excellent Surge Protection: This Belkin power strip offers reliable surge protection, safeguarding your valuable electronics from power surges, spikes, and lightning strikes. It provides peace of mind, knowing that your devices are protected against electrical damage. Build Quality and Design: The overall build quality is top-notch. The power strip feels solid and well-constructed. The sleek design and neutral color allow it to blend seamlessly into any room or office setup. Convenient Features: The inclusion of a right-angle plug helps keep the cord flush to the wall, saving space and preventing it from sticking out awkwardly. Additionally, the power strip comes with mounting holes, making it easy to install on walls or under desks for a cleaner setup. One Minor Issue: The only small drawback is that the rotating outlets can sometimes be a bit stiff to turn. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall benefits and functionality of the power strip. Conclusion Overall, the Belkin Surge Protector Power Strip with 8 Rotating and 4 Standard Outlets is an excellent choice for anyone needing a reliable and versatile power solution. Its superior surge protection, durable design, and convenient features make it a must-have for both home and office use. Despite the minor issue with the rotating outlets, its performance and practicality far outweigh this small inconvenience. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I highly recommend this power strip for its quality, functionality, and value for money.

Clamping Voltage and Space between Swiveling Receptacles
First, you have to keep in mind that, even though I rate this four stars instead of five, it is the best consumer product of its type on the market. The most important standardized metric for protection of electronic equipment is the clamping voltage. Peak let-through voltage is very important and related, but I have not found a standard by UL or IEEE for that metric. The clamping voltage of this item is 400 Volts. Ideally, you would like to have a surge suppressor with a clamping voltage of 330 Volts; but after looking pretty exhaustively for several months, I have been unable to find ANY surge suppressor for consumers rated for 330 Volts. I mean ANY...!!!! You will look at the package and say, "Where is the clamping voltage SHOWN?" Well, it AIN'T shown anywhere on the package or the Amazon listing! I could not find ANY manufacturer that listed the clamping voltage on its packaging or advertisements. "Why is that," you say. Well, there is some type of collusion within and by the manufacturers to not let you know what the clamping voltage is. Why? I'm not sure. Certainly, 998 people out of 1,000 don't know what it is, and wouldn't care if they DID know. People (and yes, I'm included) are just generally not very bright. You can probably find surge suppressors rated with a 330 Volt clamping voltage once you start getting into the hundreds of dollars for a surge suppressor, but how many of us can afford that? Especially because, if you buy a voltage suppressor that actually works, you will have to buy a new one every two or three years, because the little voltage spikes you get due to relatively normal power outages and lightning events cumulatively degrade the protection you get from a suppressor. And if you have a suppressor that actually PROTECTS your equipment, once it reaches the total capacity of the suppressor to protect, it opens the electrical circuit so that your equipment won't be damaged by a strike/spike. I.e., your equipment won't have power until you replace a real suppressor. If you have a "suppressor" connected and working for more than four years, I promise you it is not actually protecting your equipment. It is allowing the current/voltage through to your device with NO SURGE PROTECTION AT ALL. Yes, it's pretty well planned to hoodwink 99.9% or so of the population. If you know an electrical/electronics engineer, ask 'em. Again, you have no real alternative. There use to be a Rosewill surge protector listed on Amazon that is virtually identical to the Belkin, but I see now there is a message saying "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." If anyone does find a surge suppressor with a clamping voltage of 330 volts, I hope you will leave a note replying to this review, if you can. I won't check it often, but I probably will the next time my surge protector dies from the cumulative spikes I described above. Another reason I only gave this product four stars has to do with the rotating receptacles. I find that the spacing is too narrow to allow me to actually plug a hard drive adapter into adjacent receptacles. The adapter/plug is too wide. So I can only plug in a maximum of six devices that have the adapters (which are larger than standard plugs). As a matter of fact, I can't even plug in another STANDARD plug adjacent to an adapter, because the adapter body actually is so wide that it won't allow most standard plugs to fit next to it. Belkin needs to put another 1/4 inch or so between the rotating receptacles to make all of the receptacles usable. I just shake my head that some manufacturer can't make at least THIS feature usable. You would think a competitor would take the opportunity to make a buck by manufacturing one that actually does what this product is advertised to do.

Great space-saving power strip for my desk setup
Been using this for my PC desk setup and it’s been excellent. The rotating outlets are the standout feature — they let me angle bulky plugs and power adapters so they don’t block neighboring outlets, which is a huge help when you’ve got a bunch of chunky wall warts for monitors, speakers, and other gear. Solid build quality, and I haven’t run into any issues so far. Highly recommend if you’re tight on desk space and need to fit a lot of devices.

Great purchase
Great strip, it holds a lot of items that need plugging in and the fact that the outlets are adjustable is a big plus because it creates more space and cables look more organized.

NOT FOR INDIAN MARKETS
I bought this thinking that I would have a surge protector with 12 outlets, ideal for my PC set up that just seem to be adding peripherals, one after the other. On receiving this, the first thing I realised is that I need adapters. All the sockets are the US type and you need adapters to use with Indian plugs. These adapters are not easily available - You easily get adapters to convert US male plugs into Indian male plugs but adapters for converting US female sockets to Indian female sockets are rare and costly. Though, to be fair, Belkin or Amazon are not to be blamed for this as the images clearly portrayed US sockets. The larger problem however is that this won't work in India as it is designed for 120 V AC and not our 240 V AC. The first time I plugged it in and switched on, it blew the fuze and also got damaged inside. It is out for repair and I have yet to get it back. The repair shop says that he can only directly connect the sockets i.e. I will lose surge protection. So, avoid as it is not meant for Indian electric system

Scam.
Worst product ever. The quality is degraded. Item seems to be used. Wire cut and scratched. The worst experience of my life with the Amazon. All due to this product.
