Good flashlight!!
I was shocked at the brightness for the size. The battery will go for about 20-30 minutes, then as the battery goes down the flashlight automatically drops to a lower brightness mode, (I assume to save battery life). It's not too much of a problem if you keep it charged. One thing that is a personal preference, but is annoying to me, is the on/off button being on the bottom of the flashlight instead of the side. You can't really turn it on while it's facing forward from you without some tricky hand positioning. The last tactical flashlight I had the button was on the side and it was easier for me. The other thing is removing the battery to charge it. My old one the charger plugged right into the side of the flashlight. Make no mistake though... my old flashlight was not nearly as good as this one in brightness and quality, so I'm happy with it.

Military Grade!
I love this flashlight...I have a big yard and needed a powerful flashlight in case I need to get around at night..plus a flashlight should be a 1 time forever purchase so why not get the best..Fenig was always rated one of the best flashlights on all the websites I searched..I love that it is small and lightweight so you can walk around with it and it not be annoying to carry..at 1000 lumens it’s more than enough..don’t waste your money on a 2000 or 3000 lumen light..not only is it bright but it will shine in to your neighbors house so be careful..it’s easy to charge and lasts a long time as long as you avoid the highest setting..it is pricey but for a one time lifetime purchase it’s worth it!

Best Flashlight
I purchased my first Felix PD35 TAC a year ago and I can say that this is the brightest light I have ever owned. Nothing can compare to the output of Lumens at this price. I had to write a review because of the customer service from Fenix. I dropped my light from my moving vehicle while illuminating an area and it took a long hard fall. I sent it in to Fenix and bought another one because I use this flashlight on a daily basis. Fenix quickly sent me a brand new light to replace my broken one. I now am the proud owner of two. I cannot stress enough the power that this light emits. You can turn a pitch black yard quickly into a daytime setting with the easy use of the tail cap button. The strobe setting gets the attention of people and can easily distract when it's needed. The dim setting a perfect to get around when you want to be more discreet. The Felix 3500mah battery is a great power source and easy to charge with the charching port directly in the battery. A full charge lasts me a solid 12+ hours at the max Lumens.

Too expensive to keep being misplaced
I have now purchased three - lost two. But they are that good. Extremely bright with 5 brightness levels. But I always use it full blast. Great product. But it needs a longer cord so I can keep from loosing them!

Awesome light
perfect for a security light walking dog at night, and suitable for self defense as light blinding tool to deter unexpected approacher. Share is not too long, and battery life sustains itself well. Does not seem to weaken charge over periods of infrequent use. I never travel without it. Super duper light, and at the 1000 lumens max brightness setting, it lights up half of my backyard!

The BEST 1000 lumen compact light on the market
In my personal opinion, nothing compares to this light. This is my second purchase of a PD35TAC (NOT the 2018 PD35). The PD35TAC out performs the 2018 PD35 in brightness and battery longevity. I tested them both side by side with brand new Fenix 3500Mah batteries. My first PD35TAC still works great, just wanted a second one as a backup. Fits in your pocket easily and is super bright and programmable. You will not be disappointed in this light. Make sure you purchase with a 3500 MAh battery for best performance.
