This series needs no introduction! It's been all over bookstagram and now season 1 on Netflix is getting rave reviews... and it should as it's just heartwarming and beyond adorable.Set in a high school Charlie and Nick become fast friends and as they spend time together Charlie falls instantly for Nick. But Nick is unsure about his sexuality and what his heart truly wants.I have been wanting to read this one for quite sometime as it has been many years since I read a graphic novel.It was such a refreshing change and all throughout it brought out a smile on my face.The coming of age part.. trying to figure out their sexuality, their innocence , bonds of friendship, the heartbreak and eventually love has been portrayed and illustrated so well.Each illustration has so many minute details covered ..the stolen glances , secret pining , the hurt are so evident.I read these when I didn't feel like reading anything else and a lot of day to day stress going on and this lifted me up instantly!!I absolutely recommend this series to everyone esp kids trying to figure things about their sexuality giving them support and confidence that's needed.
