Zombie Outbreak Survival: Zombie Hive Incident #83-2005. I thought this was interesting was an interesting take on some the fighting and survival. Which I have here is a former army special operations officer writing a blog or possibly giving survival tips to a group of civil service personnel about how to survive the zombie hive situations. The author tries to debunk a lot of what you read about in others on the zombie books. First it seems that the US and several other countries have facilities where they raise/test the capabilities of zombies. Next he explains that there are five types of zombies. Type I and two other zombies we normally read about and they are relatively easy to kill. Starting with type III, the zombies are smarter and faster with type IV having many of the same intellectual abilities that their pre-zombie bodies had. He goes on to describe the mission in a former Soviet republic where special special forces units are sent in to retake a small city that contains at least one zombie hive. Ultimately, the unit does their job but not before one hell of a fight. The the information that the military specialist provides in theory should help future zombie fighters survive to fight again. I was happy to find that there is another book in the series. I enjoyed the writing and will read other books by this author.
