I have no idea why, but my 6 year old thinks this costume is perfect, even the solid black mask. It fits him like a glove. He is on the slightly tall side for his age but slim. I think the costume is awful, but it's not my opinion that matters. Quality is fine. Seems like it could be an OK dress-up costume, like it would hold up for more than just one night. I've certainly purchased worse. Like the other reviews, I don't understand why there is no shading or color on the mask except for black and the eyes are too far apart. 6 is happy, so I'm happy.

It’s a super cute costume for any Godzilla fan (though I do wish the mask was a bit more detailed) but it runs so small. My son is an undersized 11 year old and the Large was too small.

Well, the cover photo has the mask appearing to be more grey and 3-D detailed. The video does show a darker version for sure but still with a lot of 3-D detail. This costume came in the mail, our son tried it on, and we were horrified as its lack of detail, almost ape-like, and very dark color looked like “black face.” I made it work with paint markers by tracing what I could see and feel of the very hard to find lines and bumps. But wearing this mask as is throughout our diverse neighborhood would’ve been extremely offensive without question.
