Q: How can one verify that it is a genuine created/synthetic sapphire? Genuine ones cost about 80% of the price of a natural one.

Not all lab created stones are that much cheaper. Also, a lab created stone tests the same as a natural stone. It's pretty obvious though because of clarity and no inclusions. Natural stones as clean as lab created are extremely rare and the cost is extremely high as a result.
