I recently purchased the BONAI AA AAA Battery Charger, and I have to say, it’s been a game changer for my household. The 16-bay capacity is fantastic, allowing me to charge multiple batteries at once without any hassle. With so many devices relying on AA and AAA batteries, this charger has made my life a lot easier. One of the features I really appreciate is the independent control for each bay. This means I can charge different types of batteries simultaneously without worrying about compatibility issues. I am very happy with this purchase. I've been trying to convert to rechargeable batteries, and bought this to be able to charge more batteries at once. I initially had an issue with one of the ports not lighting up, so I contacted the seller. I have to say that I have NEVER received such amazing customer service on Amazon, and that's very important to me. It's rare to find a company like this. They responded immediately, despite being across the world. They asked me a few questions in response to my concern. They were never condescending, nor did they blame me for this issue. They suggested a few tests, and in the end, said they would send me a new charger. I received it the next day! I cannot say enough about how great their product and their customer service treated me--they were kind and respectful, and fixed the problem without a long drawn out battle! I would reccomend this charger to anyone. Thank you very much to those who helped me, it means a lot!

This charger is exactly what I needed for managing a lot of rechargeable batteries. The 16 independent bays are the standout feature — I can charge any mix of AA and AAA batteries at the same time without worrying about pairing or dead cells affecting the others. The LED indicators are clear and make it easy to see which batteries are charging and which are finished at a glance. It’s simple to use, plugs straight into the wall with no bulky power brick, and feels reliable for everyday charging. It’s not a flashy fast charger, but it gets the job done safely and consistently. If you use a lot of NiMH rechargeables, this charger is a no-brainer and a great value for the price.

This is the second charger I've owned for NiMH AA and AAA batteries. The one I've had for several years is a HiQuick, and the only reason I got this Bonai is because the HiQuick is 6-bay and needed more capacity. I like this charger, it feels solid, and the AC cord is a standard pronged plug on the outlet side, eliminating the need for a USB block in the wall. It has all the protections expected in a charger as well, and when I snap a battery in to a bay, the contact tolerances feel solid and sturdy - like it takes a little pressure to snap it, but it goes in nicely with real tension and hold, whether AAA or AA. Yet it's also easy to remove the battery even though they are held in firmly. It's just made nice that way. Some people have said it charges fast, some say it charges slow. The reason for the discrepancy is that the more batteries you have in it, the slower it charges, as it spreads its fixed load across all the batteries it's charging so the unit doesn't get too hot. If you only have in 2 batteries, they will charge faster (all else being equal) than if you load several. But another factor is that this is a trickle charger. Batteries that are trickle charged last longer than batteries that are given a fast charge. Older chargers might have faster charging algorithms (because people like fast for convenience) than newer chargers that employ the healthier trickle charging. But this will extend the life of your batteries, including charging cycles, and is also potentially safer than fast charging. The only reason I took a star off is because the bay's LCDs do not show how depleted a battery is, or how close it is to being fully charged. It's either red (charging) or green (charged). On my HiQuick charger, each bay's LED was composed of a 'stack' of 4 green bars... 1 bar lit meant the battery was low, 2 or 3 meant it was still being charged, then when it hit 4 bars, the light stopped flashing, stayed solid, and was fully charged. It was nice to glance at it and be able to see what state the charging process was in. But that's a subjective con. The LEDs on this ARE bright, and one final con imo is they stay lit even when the bays are empty. This is a waste of electricity (little as it is) and can also be distracting if you have the unit in a bedroom or someplace you don't want the light. Will have to unplug it when not in use, which is kind of a hassle considering it would have been trivial to design it so they don't light unless the bay is being used. But overall I'm happy with the purchase, providing it lasts

Love this simple, plug in, set it and forget it charger! I've had several rechargeable batteries over a decade old and I couldn't tell if my charger was bad (it was, but some bays worked) or if it was my batteries just reaching end of life. This charger doesn't pretend it's charging - it blinks red if the battery is bad and I tried a few different bays and it was the same result. I also have a battery tester and confirmed the same - rechargeable batteries do reach end of life and a handful of mine already did. My good batteries were charged up in a few hours and ready to go - as soon as it hit green I was ready to go! Pic shows my different batteries in a variety of status lights.

An absolute must have for a large rechargeable battery collection! Absolutely love the convenience of this charger as I have mini rechargeable batteries, which saves me tons of money!

Work well and keeps the batteries top up without overheating or charging. Each battery shows the individual charging status of each batter!

This is my favourite charger, you can load it up with all the rechargeable batteries laying in your Kitchen drawer and within seconds it shows you which ones need charging and the ones that are good to use, no need to put them in “in pairs” or ones with similar discharge… this is a great product, wish I had it years ago
