Indoor Air Quality, SVOCs in Air Test Kit 1 PK (5 Bus. Days) Schneider Labs

I used this and found out that the reason I have felt so sick was I have toluene in my apartment. I gave it 3 stars because I think that sending only the higher levels of any irritant may leave out many other sick odors that I have in my apartment. I think a better way would be to send a complete list of all test kit results.

I bought this test kit to assess the air quality inside my wife's car, which had been contaminated by an excessive amount of air conditioner sanitizer. The service agent had used so much of the product that we could not bear the smell inside the car, and we variously experienced headaches, nausea, hay-fever and asthma when we traveled in the car. We also have a 3 month old baby and we were concerned that exposing her to the car's interior could be harmful to her development. However, the vehicle service agent refused to take responsibility and demanded that we 'prove' that the air quality was harming us.This air test kit was my only chance to provide an objective test of the air quality in our car, which has barely improved in 2 months. Therefore, I went to considerable expense to acquire the kit, and paid for extra courier postage to speed up the process. I meticulously followed the instructions and returned the sample to Schneider Labs for their assessment. To my shock and disappointment, I received a single page answer a few days later, with a zero result. In other words, they claim to have found no compounds at all in my sample.I emailed them back querying this result and requesting a re-test, but to date I've not even received an acknowledgment of my request. They have taken my $135 and completely ignored me.I titled this review 'buyer beware' because I think anyone considering buying this product should think again. Once they have your money, what is stopping them from doing the same thing to you? You have no recourse once you have submitted the sample to them, and if they claim to have found nothing in the sample they could simply ignore you like they did to me.As a postscript: the toxic vapor in our car is still so strong that we cannot drive it without taping shut the air vents and setting the air circulation to recycle.

This test was just what we needed. Easy to use, fast turn around time and accurate results delivered via email. I would definitely use this testing facility in the future. They saved us a bunch of money .
