First of all, the price is 25% less than the big box home improvement stores. This filter is very efficient and effective in trapping dust, pet hair etc. Prior to purchasing this filter the "cheap/generic" filter installed in our new home had us dusting twice or more a week now we dust twice a month. Your ceiling fans will thank you as well.

Perfect fit for my furnace and lasts about a year. I like the metal slots at the top and bottom that hold the filter in place and don't let air by on the sides (air leakage). Does a good job at pulling fine particulates out form getting into the blower. More expensive option than the paper filters, but I think better at filtering out the air. Its a little trickiy start the filter to go onto the rails, but once you start it, then it easily slides into place.

I was lookin' for a new filter for my air purifier, and this AprilAire one did the trick just right. It fits like a glove and keeps all that dust and gunk from floatin' around my house. The air feels cleaner, and I can tell it's makin' a difference. Swappin' it out was easy as pie. All in all, this filter is a mighty good deal and does exactly what it's supposed to do.
