Saddleman Universal Front Bench Seat Cover - Saddle Blanket Fabric (Blue)

I think this may be the first time I ever gave a poor rating to a purchase.I purchased this for my daughters’ 71 Impala. We searched through many different bench seat options, and chose this one because of the color blue that was represented I. The picture. My daughters and I were very disappointed when we opened the package and found out the color was not what was pictured.1-the color received was navy blue, not the color in the picture.2-this cover will only cover the front of the seat, not the back. This cover would barely make it to the top of the seat, wouldn’t even fold down part of the back of the seat3-no way to attach to the seat. It comes with these small 1in black loops attached are various parts of the cover. Then there are 6 pieces of black rope attached to the middle of the cover. I assume that the ropes are supposed to go through the middle of the seat (where the back of the seat and the seat portion of the seat come together). On the car I have-you can’t push the ropes through the break in the seat. Even if I could push the ropes through, they would t be long enough to tie them together. Just over all poor design.4-the slits for the seat belts-basically, the manufacturer made slits in the fabric and covered the slits in cheap foam. They didn’t even finish the edges of the foam that would be seen. So, you have navy foam with white edges.5-only the passenger side of the cover is finished with a fold that has been sewn. The driver’s side is not folded, so it’s just a flat edge. I guess it’s that way to give you extra room in case your bench is a tad bit longer. The problem-it will constantly need readjusting.6-instructions were not helpful-I read and reread and reread the instructions multiple times. I looked at the pictures provided in the instructions. The pictures looked like it was for a different product. The verbal instructions made little sense.Over all, poor product-I’m sending back!!!

Ok...so considering how inexpensive this seat cover is, it will work well enough on this '69 C10. I expect that it will at least hold up until I get to the "restoration of the interior" part of this truck. Again, please keep in mind that this is exceptionally inexpensive when it comes to interior/upholstery. You will likely need to get creative when it comes down to tying this cover on to your seat frame. However, with a little 550 cord, the included bungee ropes, some creativity and patience you'll have your seats looking pretty good in no time. I would buy this again, but I also didn't expect to receive a high end factory replacement kit.

Within 5 months the top of the cover has dry rotted. Would not recommend this seat cover.

This seat cover has got to be one of the most worthless purchases I've ever made. It looked great when I took it out of the box, but everything went downhill after that. First off, the cover was too small for the 1984 Chevrolet standard bench seat I used it on. Luckily, the pocket in front was created by simply folding material over and making a few stitches. I cut the stitches and unfurled the material to give me just enough extra length to properly install the cover (barely). After sitting outside since I installed it in May (and getting very little use), the cover has literally disintegrated into strings and powder. I can only surmise that this thing must be made from some recycled Chinese industrial waste. The previous saddle blanket cover I had in the truck lasted approximately 20 years. DO NOT waste your money on this POS!

It covers the seat in my 85 C10 but, barely covers the front and sides. NOT LIKE THE PIC in. The fold over on top is only about 3" and doesnt come all the way down the seat back. It is all held on but rope.... The rope in the back that holds it to the seat breaks easy and I had to make four 3 foot long ropes to tie the front section down. It looks nice but slides all over the place... not very impressed.

Seat over is fine, the attachment is the problem. Not enough string, nowhere near long enough, I have tried multiple different ways to add straps to it with no avail, I’m gonna have to take it off and throw it away. Useless

Nice seat cover, an right size, but the tie downs were way to short and not enough, I had to improvise with some parachute cord. Over all it was a fair product.

These covers use to come with enough material to slip over the whole back of the seat which made them fit getter and shift less. Now they tie on and have just enough material to fit the seat. Not as good as the old design.
