This has been the best mobile ! We take it everywhere and use it for everything; on the road to the Dr office. Super portable and durable we use it as babies entertainment and during nap time it soothe him to sleep. The music is just perfect and diverse; volume of speakers is just right. Super easy to use just clips to our stroller and car seat. The Mobile is super easy to install on our cribs including portable playpen and doesn’t move easily when tightened.

This is my 7 wk olds favorite thing. He will baby-dance and stare at it and squeal with joy for hours. When he is upset it almost always brings him calm, and it cheers him up to the point of smiles and silly wiggles. Highly recommend it. Hopefully it will last long enough for baby number 2. So far it’s been running strong and the songs are pretty good too. It doesn’t take much to get this assembled, just grab some double a batteries and a screwdriver and you’re good to go. You can use it on a crib, pack and play, bassinet and car seat and probably anything else, very versatile. There is no volume control, just a music and a mute setting, but the music isn’t very loud.

SUMMARY: This is a good small sized mobile that can attach to a variety of surfaces. Unfortunately, due to an apparently widespread problem with motor whine, we had to have the first one replaced. Right out of the box, it had a fairly noisy and annoying drone from the motor. Upon further review, several other reviewers have had the same experience. The second one has worked with no problem. All in all, a great product from a solid brand!WHY: We bought this for our son who LOVES watching his crib mobile go round and round. Since he liked that one so much, we decided to buy a smaller mobile from the same brand for a bassinet we have in another room.PROS: The mobile's battery usage has been excellent through consistent use on a daily basis. The mobile plays some great classical music that even adults will enjoy (and trust me, you'll want to like what you hear when you have to listen to it on repeat each and every day!). The little hanging animals are super cute!CONS: The motor whine. Our first unit had this issue, but a quick replacement by Amazon solved the issue. The mechanism that holds the arm onto the bassinet rim could be better designed as it tends to slip over time, causing the mobile to slowly tip over into the bassinet.

My baby LOVES this mobile. She loves staring at it even when it's not on (when she wakes up in the morning or from naps). We run it during nap times. At first I thought the music was too loud, but she sleeps the whole time it plays and when it stops with the auto timer at 30 minutes she starts fidgeting, we creep into the room and turn it back on and back to sleep she goes. I just wish I could change the timer to last longer.

So it can be attached to a bassinet, just be aware that if it’s an artesanal bassinet like the design Dua, which are handmade with dried elephant grass (similar to hardened hay); this won’t work, you’ll be able to instal/attach the base but once you hang the mobile (part with the animals and sound box) it will fall forward since this type of bassinets aren’t strong enough to keep the base straight. We had to do some weird arrangement with a cord to kinda make it stay but is a little uncomfortable. Also because it sits so low is hard to put baby in and take out without hitting her face with this, so we unclip the mobile and put it back on as we need.Now the rest:It doesn’t have a timer that you can control so it turns off after a period of time on its own.It has an option for the mobile to move in circles but with no music, so baby can still watch but if he/she (or you) don’t like the music then that can be done.When in mute; the motor makes a tiny sound but not loud enough to prevent baby to sleep, in fact you have to get really close to it to even notice.Installation is very easy and simple, you do not need any tools for this, just your hands.
