I got this product based on another review of hooking up old bookshelf speakers to it. I did the same thing and it was awesome. My only issue was that the battery for the remote came dead, so I was a bit concerned that was not working, but I just put in a new battery and everything worked great. Hard to believe that such great sound comes out of this little box.

First one arrived, seemed to power on but Remote didn’t see to control the unit. Porchased a second unit and same thing. Attempted to contact their customer service which was no help. Wanted this one for its price and required the optical input however it wouldn’t work so returned them both and went with the Orb Audio unit instead which works great.

I should've known better. I wanted this to work. However it wouldn't even turn on. There's no way to turn on without the remote. I even tried my Apple TV remote and it didn't work either. Bummer. Returning tomorrow. This is getting old.

Nice little amp - works as claimed. I used mine to power a soundbar for a TV. Tivo Bolt Mini VOX remote found an IR combo that works in just a few seconds. Overall a very good purchase.

The first one lasted less than 24 hours. The replacement was dead on arrival. It is a nice idea too bad they couldn't get me one that would work.

Another Amazon product that doesn't work right out of the box. Checked remote battery-OK. Unit would not turn on, standby LED on but zero response from remote. Useless. Returning items that don't work to Amazon is getting to be the norm.

Hooking up my speakers into their tiny adapter with the tiny screw driver was unexpected. There could be a potential of stripping the screws while you tighten them down to pinch the speaker wire into place. After it was all hooked up to the optical, the red standby light came on and...that was all. I changed inputs with the remote and...standby. Plugged in my phone and...standby. Unplugged the unit from the wall and replugged and...standby. So its getting returned tomorrow. Not sure if the company stands by their product LOL.

The performance of this amplifier is amazing for the size. After plugging it in and hooking it up to my speakers using the connectors, which do require you to use a small screwdriver that's included, I quickly connected my phone to it via Bluetooth. The streaming audio is great. I use the amplifier on my gaming system and it takes up almost no space! My previous amplifier was much larger and frankly I don’t believe sounded as bright and strong as this tiny wonder. I also chose this amplifier due to the inputs being digital and the ability to stream my audio from my phone but also because it is so nice looking and tiny. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a small powerful nice looking amp. As you can see in my picture, I have much more desktop space now with this little guy doing the audio for me! The construction of the amplifier is very solid and it has a nice touch to it. The front panel lights are perfect for day or night use. When I game I use the system in near darkness and the LED is a nice soft level to it. The amplifier has plenty of power and my speakers sound great if I am playing my music or the sounds from my gaming time.UPDATE: 10-2017The amp is still playing great, and I consider it one of the best pieces of equipment I have bought. I did have to replace the remote battery as it become weak after a few months of working. I think that might be what the other buyers issues are related to. I do have to clean the amplifier about once a week, I normally just dust it. It is small and I hide it now beneath one of my monitors and the dust there seems to be a little much.Still HIGHLY recommend this little amplifier!
