Perfect fit, great quality
Very well built. Easy to follow instructions and good hardware. Perfect fit and overall great addition to my fifth wheel gate. Looks easy enough to remove or reinstall as needed with the threaded screw inserts.

While this is a great metal piece and fits .. it sells for on a plastic tailgate .. why is that even possible? I thought that the tailgate was metal but it wasnt.

Does the job, but can be easily damaged.
Considering the price, this should be easier to put on and remove. We like to secure the back of our bed once we remove the 5th wheel and this does that but it uses screws that I need to install and remove every time. I use my power screwdriver to do it but it's still a hassle. It also is easy to damage (scratch and bend). Wish it was the same material as the rest of the tailgate with snap one mounts.

I would've given 5 stars if this piece was the same material as the rest of the fifth wheel tailgate. It is metal where the tailgate is a nice finished hard plastic. The two pieces put together don't look like they are matched materials at all.
