Heavy duty net and backstop performs great!
Don't waste your time buying the cheaper lighter hockey goals. The EZ goal ROCKS!Upon unboxing, assembly was daunting, and the fact that I had to lace the net by hand was quite frankly a pain. The pieces all went together well. The only thing I did wrong first time around was assmebling the back base of the goal frame (white curved tubes). These are precision fit pieces, so if you are struggling to get the whole thing to come together, you may have mixed up some pieces.I said the net was a pain to lace. It took a while. But it was therapeutic, and as I felt the quality of the netting, I had no doubt that this was by far better quality netting compared to my PVC tubing net purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods. I have seen reviews that say that excess tension can cause PUCKS to tear the net. Well, for street hockey, this isn't an issue. And even if you are an advanced player, with adequate slack, this will take slap shots well.Weight IS an issue, and once put together, you cannot transport the net separate from the backstop. Somewhere I saw an estimate of about 60lbs assmebled. the Box itself is heavy, but when the net is assebled its heavy and also spread out. So moving this bad boy around does take a lot of muscle. But the backstop ingeniously folds (read instructions carefully) to make it somewhat more compact. The side backstops fold in, but do not (from what I can tell) lock. As I moved it around, the two side panels had a tendency of opening up, so if you like to move it in the closed position, invest in some bungie cords and tack them to each other or something... And I believe the company sells rollers to attach to the front posts. I don't have these, but just keep in mind, These probably only allow you to roll the unit front-to-back. I have the net/backstop sideways in my garage, so it prob wont help me anyways. One thing you may notice, is depending on how you knotted the netting/backstop, you may get some slack forming over time. Just from folding and unfolding, the top backstop net now sags about 2 inches from the edges. Not a big deal, I can simply add tension. But it can/will happen. To me this is such a minor thing, especially since in one product, I get a great quality net, backstop, AND CORNER TARGETS! Forget about it. this is a winner for the price. Finally, the powder coat on the net is not very thick. This is my first season with it, and I haven't taken it out in snowy weather, but once it starts to get exposed to the elements, I will be cautious about corrosion.

Great quality!
Awesome set up. The goal is great quality for the price and the mesh is so secure and tight that the pucks actually ricochet back to me. I bought the goal with the side and top mesh as well so it took me well over 4 hours to put the whole thing together. Maybe if you’re a fisherman or just know your knots, you’ll be able to do it much quicker. The instructions are horrendous, but if you take the time to tie everything tight, loop by loop, you’ll love the end product.Highly recommend.

Solid net for practice at home!
I'd been considering getting this net since I got my son interested in hockey, and couldn't pass on the recent sale price.Assembly was pretty straightfoward, everything basically clicks into place. Definitely set aside some time for attaching the net to the goal and backstop, though, as that's where you'll spend most of your assembly time. We've put a few hundred shots on goal since we got it set up and it's pretty solid. It's definitely got scuff marks on the pipes from puck bouncing off, but no dents. It folds up pretty easily for moving around the garage or into the back yard, and folds pretty flat, as well, so for our house it slides up against a garage door when we need it out of the way. It's easy enough for me to carry alone, as long as I open doors ahead of me if I'm carrying it through the house to the back yard.I personally wouldn't put any slapshots into it, as I imagine the pipes wouldn't hold up well to that. But I've put tons of hard wrist shots into it with nary a dent, so it's a great net for all ages. My slapshot is terrible, anyway.Update: as of March 2019, it's still going strong. There are a couple of spots I've mended in the netting, but other than that this goal keeps on going. It survived hurricane Harvey in addition to untold thousands of shots between my son and me! Great buy.

Seems good
Easy enough to put the frame together but the net was a pain and didn't seem right. At first it was so tight the pucks would come flying out. After a few days it seems to have stretched and its much better. No dents yet, just scuffs. Seems sturdy enough.

Awesome
Awesome net. Use it for pond hockey in the winter, love that it folds up nice for summer storage. Seems very durable.

Great goal for practicing at home and folds up neatly for storage
First off people here are negatively reviewing ether the company that ships it or because they are idiots and ordered incorrectly. I received everything pictured and it folded up exactly as shown. The goal is very sturdy and can handle any from of projectile. I have shot rubber pucks, plastic pucks and every type of outdoor street hockey balls; All without even leaving a dent on the frame.Setup was a little tedious, and I wish I would't have pulled the goal net soo tight, as now the ball bounces out of the goal when soothing too hard... but, it's fixable if I want to re-string the net.Breakdown and storage takes a few times to master, but now I can do it in a few minutes and it is a nice feature for tucking away in the garage. The only con I have is the way the 4 corner pockets are assembled makes it hard for you to score a goal by the ball rolling in on the ground. All 4 pockets are connected to one strap so when assembled and tight there is a strap going along the bottom of the ground. Minor, but inconvenient when practicing.Great buy and I would deffanently recommend to my friends
