Tespo Pet Playpen, Small Animal Cage Indoor Portable Metal Wire yd Fence for Small Animals, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits Kennel Crate Fence Tent, Black, (12Panels)

I have been searching for larger cage for my son's guinea pig for months with no luck. I came across the idea of using these pens as a permanent open style cage and was at first a bit skeptic. However, to my surprise this is exactly what I needed. I plan to do a lot more with sewing my own bottom for it once I'm set on the final design and plan to make a 2 story structure eventually. Each kit (box) contains 12 - 12" X 15" panels with connectors as well as zip ties, pads and a little wooden hammer. I purchased 2 kits (2 boxes) The good- *Panels are similar to that of any small animal cage. *Most of the panels were welded and painted well. (1 panel out of my 24 total had broken welds, but not big deal) *It is ideal and perfect for a guinea pig or small animals. *It is fairly easy to assemble, be careful though as if your too rough I imagine the welds can break. Its best to be careful as possible, but I didn't have a hard time connecting the pieces overall, nor did I break any in the process. *Endless design possibilities. *Ability to use the 12" size or 15" size is great. *Once all connected in a pen style it's very durable and suitable for small animals. With that said, those who purchased this for dogs or larger animals, I have to say what were you thinking? The product states the panel sizes and I would think logically, this is meant for small animals, not a puppy. The Bad- *1 out of the 24 I purchased did have broken welds. But the welds were in the middle of the panel and didn't bother me. *Getting the panels in the clips can be challenging. Most went in fine, but there were some they would not go in all the way and I had to use a pair of pliers to squeeze them together (stay close to the clip). *The wooden hammer it comes with is not heavy enough to work correctly. *The way the horizontal panels line up when trying to create a second floor forces you to use zip ties as the clips do not have the ability to take panels on all sides. (understandable, but still a flaw). Overall, I love the product, the guinea pig has been in it since I received the panels and he loves it we keep his cage door open 24/7. He has not escaped or anything. In fact my 4yr old son can sit in the pen with his pet which has also led to our guinea pig becoming more friendly. Also should mention my son has hit the panels, knocked them and slid the entire enclosure by tripping on it. Nothing has come apart or broken, with no zip ties used yet. The product is what it says it is, it's average in durability, similar to a regular basic cage for small animals, it stays together well, again I have used no zip ties just yet. Though I'm not done with my final design. Bottom line, I'm happy and I would recommend it for sure, at least for the purpose I've used it for, especially at the price point.

This playpen is just what we were looking for. We had our baby guineas in a smaller playpen and wanted something bigger. This did the job. It comes with the connectors a little hammer ties and non slip protectors. You can put the panels 2 ways. Either horizontal or vertical. We went with the side that makes it taller. For the side panels we put the connectors on the side because it just looked better. We just love how it’s open from the top so much easier to do out daily clean ups and easier to grab our babies to hold. We recommend it and you can always buy more panels to make your own design. Super easy to put together and material feels and looks durable

I bought a set of these panels months ago to prepare for an indoor pet rabbit. I bought this second set to have the flexibility of enlarging a play area or having one area upstairs & one down. The only problem I have is, my new rabbit is really tiny at 2 months old. He can stick his head through the grid up to his shoulders. Under all that fluff his skeleton is tiny. I marked how far out he can get ,in red on the photo. That's dangerous, especially as he gets bigger. My solution was to order Tesco's solid clear panels to use for now . If my Lionhead (small breed of rabbit) doesn't get big enough to use the wire panels I have plenty of other ways to use them. They're very versatile and so easy to use.

I live on a mountain plateau in the high desert southwest. Every time I plant vegetables or flowers or herbs in planters or in the soil, my 'crops' disappear overnight or within a couple of days. Last year I thought planting cacti would keep the offending creatures away, but I was wrong. All of my sharp-needled cacti were eaten with a week -- even tried to protect them with bamboo spears sticking up around each plant. No joy. I don't know if my creatures are airborne -- ground based -- or both -- but I'm tired of losing everything I plant. I decided to try this Tespo Playpen. Turned out to be an awesome solution. I built a three-panel rectangle with a top in about 5 minutes just as an example to show my wife. The plastic connectors are brilliantly designed. You can't go wrong with the installation. Just a bit of common sense and 5 minutes. Done. I would have taken a star off this review for the laughable instruction sheet (and funny English translations)...but you really don't need it at all. A toy hammer is also included -- not necessary -- I just clipped the panels into the connectors with my hands. Once I have put together all of my cages, I will use zip ties to make sure none of the panels come loose. This is a cheaper solution than what I would have to spend on lumber and chicken wire to build cages myself. Highly recommended.

Completely not as described, it specifically says that square cages are dangerous and it is a square cage, there's no gate and my rabbit who is dwarf and one month old (tiny) can jump over it. Don't bother.

I am so happy with this pet playpen! my guinea pig loves it and it is a huge amount of space for her to explore. In the future I will buy more to expand further out. It is super easy to assemble and clean and compared to other pet pens, this one is of a much higher quality and sturdiness. Thank you so much!

Good quality & easy to put together. If buying for a dog I would recommend only for a small dog as the fence is not very high. Can always stack the fences but then need to buy a second one to make the playpen large enough for the dog to move around.

Love that the grids can be used vertical or horizontally. Really like the design overall for my two guinea pigs. The little hammer broke early on but the tabs can be tapped in with any hammer or mallet.

This product came quickly and was so easy to assemble and disassemble! I’m probably going to purchase more!
