Great Medium Stiffness Leather Cord.
Perfect multipurpose leather cord. I use it to make bracelets and necklaces. Remains fairly stiff so not ideal for boot laces, but still knot-able and any other wearable craft will hold its shape well. Added bonus that there is a flesh and grain side, meaning you can add some color or accent to your project.

Good Leather, but not a shoe lace.
Great for a lot of stuff like draw strings on bags, but don't use as a boot-lace: It'll snap after the 100th tug.

Great Product!
This is a quality product and is exactly as described. It's a very tough, pliable and durable leather suitable for many applications. I use mine for whip-stitching leather knife sheaths.

These are the best boot laces I’ve ever seen!
I absolutely love these leather boot/shoe laces. They go perfectly with my Bass Ranger Boots. Don’t they look beautiful?

4mm is insufficient for boot laces/not "Heavy Duty"
This looks nice and was sized accurately (4mm) but there is little top grain left in the leather. Most of the material is loose and weak. I tried this out to make some laces for a pair of boots. The top layer quickly chaffed/cracked and then they broke under light tension. The 5 yards was enough to make 2 pairs of laces, but so far I have broken 2 after only a few weeks of use. It looks like it would make a good boot lace, but this is not the case. To be fair, it is not advertised for this application, though it is identified as "Heavy Duty" - it is medium to light duty as far as I am concerned. For more decorative applications I think this material would be fine. The color was consistent and sizing even.
