I bought the Humminbird to replace my old Lowrance unit. The Humminbird is a superior product in my opinion. After getting used to the menu structure I find it much more intuitive and easy to use. The image quality is as good as the advertising photos, I can't say that about my Lowrance. Installation was very easy, everything just plugs into the back into its own specially shaped connector so you can't get it wrong.I use my Humminbird along with my Minn Kota trolling motor connected with iPilot-Link. It is great to be able to record a route, save it and then have the boat follow it again and again so I can fish without thinking about navigation (as much). I did have to contact support for clarification on the installation of the lake maps chip I purchased. They are US based and very helpful. Hold time was less than 5 minutes before I spoke with a representative. They also have chat support which is also excellent.

This thing is absolutely amazing. Clear picture and having all the features on screen simultaneously is the best, bang for buck would buy again

Love the finder. To spend near $1k and not get a unit cover didn’t impress me.

I love the side scan and I called the hummingbird hotline and walk through all the screens to get to know the unit it works great I have it on an 18 ft bass bug gy

Was extremely easy to install in my Old Town AP 136 kayak. Tons of instructional videos out there to help above and beyond the included booklet that Humminbird provides. Just wish they provided the 3 amp inline fuse and housing that they say should be used.
