Dejavou Allegedly Super Light, Allegedly Small Capsule Umbrella: It is much heavier and bigger than it appears in the ad. It will be a heavy bulky burden in most handbags and other hand carriers. It has a cloth cover inside the capsule that will never fit back over the umbrella, once you have opened umbrella and closed it, the cover is so tight. And it is a royal pain to close the umbrella up tight enough to fit back in the capsule itself, even without the inner cloth cover. The velcro belt that holds the umbrella together when it is closed is poorly sewn and looks like it will soon rip off. The price is ridiculous - much too high. Very disappointed! I paid extra to have this shipped in time for a trip. There is not enough time to return it. Worst mini umbrella I've ever had, and I have had many in my life because I'm 76 years old, and travel often so I always carry one with me. I should have stuck with Totes they always work. Sadly I let other people borrow my mini-traveling umbrellas and do not get them back. I'm leaving for another trip tomorrow, and and very disappointed. Perhaps this is a defective umbrella, because it was very hard to open it and then I could not close it small enough so that it would fit back into the capsule.

after reading the reviews i thought this would be a great lightweight umbrella. it still feels heavy in my bag and it barely fits back into the capsule so i have to struggle with it every time. it's also pretty small so not a lot of coverage.

Was happy with it at first but after only a few uses it broke. And I don't mean a strong wind broke it...it just stopped working under delicate use.

The small pill-like case is cute and fits easily in a backpack pocket or briefcase. The umbrella is mall but serviceable. I will use it for travel and overflow but not as a main umbrella because of the size.

Perfect for keeping the sun off you. It is literally 5-10 degrees cooler under the umbrella.

Sorry to say it's a piece of junk. Very hard to open to final locked in position. Very small - might work for a kid.

we definitely have an umbrella problem as we are constantly re-buying them as we lose them in a car or closet. I purchased this one for vacation because of the size and travel case. What was different about this umbrella is it easily fits in my purse. I was so surprised with not only the strength of the umbrella when opened, but also how easy it was to get back into the travel case. One other callout for this little umbrella is how well it protected both me and my son in the rain. I was amazed how large the coverage was for such a little umbrella. If you're looking for something to keep in a small bag that delivers great rain protection.
