Pfaltzgraff Everyday Catalina Cobalt 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4

Bought these for my daughter's new home. Substatial sized plates and cups, and they look much more epensive. Delivery was fast and everrything arrived in great shape. The dinner plates are large, however, so my need adjusting to fit into the dishwasher.

That is a good set, I love it!

I ordered two sets and relatively happy only three pieces were broken. One box all was fine. Other box had one large plate, one small plate and one bowl broken. Not sure how Amazon can replace these three items.

We love the dishes the packaging however was very poor we ordered a service at 12 two boxes were packed very well with bubble wrap and properly sealed box the third box however was shipped without any extra packaging to protect The product.

I love these dishes! The blue is not as dark a cobalt as pictures look, but I still liked the blue a lot. Every piece that survived is beautiful. I ordered three sets to have plenty, and unfortunately four of the 12 bowls broke in shipping. But Amazon gave me a refund on one of the sets without return so I got to keep all the unbroken pieces, which was awesomely fantastic. Good show! I got these to supplement another Platzgraff set of dishes, and these are much lighter weight overall, which I appreciate. They are versatile and could be used everyday like we do and for special occasions. I would highly recommend these dishes.

The dishes themselves are beautiful and absolutely exceed my expectations. My only issue with this is I ordered two sets and one set was nearly perfect, maybe one broken dish. The second set had several broken dishes, mostly bowls. I submitted a replacement and this time I received more broken bowls as well as a broken plate and saucer. Perhaps the company should consider an alternate packing option for the bowls to minimize the number of broken dishes.

I love the look of this set but the durability leaves a lot to be desired. After 18 months of daily use (by three adults) numerous pieces have chipped edges. I’m not sure why the edges chip so easily, given our previous set - Hopscotch - lasted for 25 years with little obvious wear and tear.
