My cockatiel is 4 yrs old. I've always fed him seeds from the time he was a young bird, 5 mths. I took him to the avian vet and they introduced him to these pellets. He loves to eat it. He took to them right away with out hesitation. He eats like a piglet now. I feel good that he's getting the nutritional diet he needs. The price is great, I got the 10 lb bag.

My quaker loves this food. Good size bag for the cost as well. My bird loves the variety of seed. Doesn't have sunflower seeds so that's a plus .it smells so good when ubopen the bag!variety of colors and very fresh seed .

It took a few days of cold turkey to switch from an all-seed diet to these, and some testing but after multiple rejected types of pellets, my quaker will finally happily eat pellets! she hated the taste of the fruit ones no matter what, but the nut blend she enjoys. the only condition is that I have to crush them into smaller pieces with a mortar and pestle, because for some reason in the full size ball she doesn't recognize them as food and will dig through the whole bowl tossing everything as reject and not eating.

My cockatiels loved them and I had to change their diet because seeds are bad for them and I had one sick cockatiel. Pellets are healthier.Seeds should be given as a treat

My birds love Zupreem pellets. I usually cycle them between the Fruitblend type and the Natural blend. Considering what some of the other big brands charge for their good pelleted food, I am glad that Zupreem can keep their prices more affordable than them. My birds love this stuff, except for maybe the banana shapes. There was a time when I believe they made the bananas into plain, round yellow balls, and they did not seem to have an issue with that. I think my birds would prefer they do that again. Nevertheless, they love this stuff and the natural blend and I will continue to buy it and support it.

I have tried multiple times to switch my Quaker Parrot from seeds over to pellet food along with fresh fruits and vegetables. She has refused almost everything except carrots. Never pellets no matter what brand I bought. As she has gotten older she has tried some of the other fruits and vegetables and found she liked those but still refused any pellets. I expected another refusal when I gave her these, but she ate them without a fuss. She eats the lighter colored pellets first, then the darker, kind of like kids picking out their favorite M&Ms candies from the bag and eating those first. I am going to start to sneak some of the refused pellets like the fruit ones in with these to see if she will eat them now.
