WOW! How pleasantly surprised I was with this lamp!I dreaded the setup thinking it was going to be anothercheap product from China with poor-fitting parts anduseless instructions. NOT AT ALL.Here's what I got:Clean, well-organized packaging. It was really a pleasure to unpack.The BONUS - no need to thread the wire through the 4 polesbecause the wire was ALREADY threaded through each pole.What does that mean?All you do is slip off the plastic wrapper and startscrewing each pole together then the base.LESS THAN 20 MINUTES to set up if you avoid remote setupand just use the foot switch as I did.SLEEK and NARROW - just perfect for dark cornersLIGHTING - 3 settings. The first two are VERY,VERY BRIGHT.The third setting is more subdued. This light is best ifyou are moving around doing other tasks and you need brightlight on a heavy cloud day for example.Fits great in bedroom corner - but not for romanticambience even with a room divider to soften the light.THE BASE - love the heavy. sturdy base on thevery lightweight pole.REMOTE SETUP - BATTERIES NOT INCLUDEDIf you buy more than onelamp and want to control the lamps via remote-check the instructions so that you coordinate thesetup properly.This is the only part of the set up thatthat would take more time.FLOOR SWITCH - this is an added BONUS if youwant a quick setup without having to read tediousinstructions for coordinating the remote.LAMP SHADE - the lamp shade does not requireyou to attach lamp shade pieces togetheras a couple of other Amazon products do beforeI discovered this one.BUY THIS ONE It has the price point of the other two.Who wants a peeling, unsecured lamp shade?I will buy three more of these because of thesleek, narrow fit in dark living room cornersduring early Winter darkness.

Great price. Nice lamp has all sorts of adjustable settings and fits in any tight corner.Just hooked it up so if it dies on me soon I'll adjust the score.It puts light in all directions which makes it nice to get the entire room.

Update: The seller has contacted me and offered to replace the remote. The replacement remote works as expected. However, occasionally I still have to press on or off button twice before it takes effect. Overall, I'm pleased with it and I appreciate the customer attention I've received from the seller.Lamp is okay but you have to use the foot pedal (at least it's got one) to turn it on. The "ON" button on the remote does not work when the lamp has been on. The "OFF" button will turn it off, and then the "ON" button will work if you use within seconds, but after a while it won't work again. Very annoying.

Here is my simple breakdown for this lamp:PROS- Easy to assemble- Remote control and a floor button to press with your foot to activate.- Warm and cool color settings with adjustable brightness.- Small footprint and slim design makes it easy to tuck away in corners or small spaces.- Sturdy enough construction; doesn’t wobble or lean.CONS- My only slight complaint is the lamp isn’t as bright as I would like it. However, the lamp makes excellent mood lighting and works best in smaller rooms. Use two or more lamps for large rooms and synch them.

I love these lights, I bought two, and they work on the same remote. You can dim them, or make them very bright. They are very slim so they fit anywhere. They give off great light without being noticed. Easy to assemble.

These floor lamps complement my living room and I’m happy with the brightness.Pros: both lamps will function with on remote simultaneously. The lamps doest’t get hot so you don’t have to worry about putting in next to curtains. You have the option of warm white or cool white and adjusting the brightness.Cons: the cable inside the lamp is longer than needed so I had to fold and squeeze the excess cable into the pole. The remote is confusing and batteries are not include. It takes AAA.The cons don’t outweigh the pros so that’s why I gave it a 5 star rating.

Very bright and lots of settings, which I appreciate. It was really easy to set up. I do have one problem/question: every so often it just turns itself on or off? Does anyone know why that is? I'll be reading at my desk and it just turns off. I thought maybe I'd hit the button with my foot, but a few nights later I was in bed going to sleep when it turned on. And there aren't any pets that could have done so. I'm worried about some sort of wiring problem?

I love this light. Gives me the needed light in a tight space. Very functional and easy to put together.
