Overall not too bad, has one major flaw which I will state below.Build:Standard hard plastic with glossy finish, it is strong enough to hold up the watch without bending or anything. Read others say it bends, mine does not. Cable that comes with it is 2-3' tops, but works well.Charge:Yes, it charges my watch without issue. It has a magnetic base so putting the watch on is quick and easy, I have zero issues lining up the pins. This DOES NOT work when plugged into a pc though, the OS will say it cannot recognize the device and it will not charge. You need to plug into a wall or a dumb USB port.This overall does a good enough job to act as a supplemental plug for your hwatch1. I use my original when I travel and have this one at home as it is easier to use on my table.

Updated Review: I received the new charging stand and it is working as described and no damage to this one. It is very convenient and better than the original charger. I gave it 4 stars b/c getting the charging posts properly aligned to charge is still a bit wonky._______________________________Love the idea of this. Like the other reviews say, it's still a bit tedious getting the pins lined up. I gave it 2 stars because there's a crack in the plastic on the top where the magnet is. I'll update my review when it is replaced.

So far this charger is great. I charge my watch on my night stand, and this design makes it easier to just drop the watch on the stand, and not have to worry about the metal bands scratching the wood. My original Huawei Watch charger was not working anymore and all the other ones I tried that were like the original design, did not work bc the prongs would not make contact with the watch and the replacements would cause my screen to flash and bounce. If you are looking to replace your OEM, or even replacement charger, for your Huawei watch give this one a try and you will not be disappointed. The prongs that charge are a bit longer than usual, so it picks up the charge very fast without having to move it around and get that perfect fit.

If you are having a problem charging your Huawei Watch (first gen) this is the solution for you. Unlike the coin-sized chargers with wire connectors, this one has large solid connectors, The design uses the weight of the band to stabilize the connection. no hassle setup every night.

I had my doubts about 3rd party chargers considering that the OEM is pretty crappy, but so far, this one far outperforms the OEM charger. I set the watch on it and it work. No more spending ten minutes screwing around with it trying to get it to fit just right and hope it stays that way without having to hold it in my hand. This was a great purchase.

Works great for me. Occasionally the watch does not hit the pins to charge and needs to be fiddled with, however the amplitude of fiddling has been less than with the original charger that came with my watch. I feel strongly this is a design limitation on the watch side, so I can't blame this product for it.

It doesn't work. My watch doesn't charge with it unless I press it with my hands against the dock. Very disappointed.

Still a little bit tedious to align the pins every time, but this stand sure makes it better! Not to mention it actually gives the watch a place to rest, instead of just lying on the floor or nightstand. For me, it was definitely worth the $16.
