amazing product
I have installed raised beds and used this product as a partial fill. Amazing. And my plants liked it as well.

Drys out quickly
I would suggest using it mixed with potting soil, it drys out quickly and doesn’t add any plant nutrients so you will need to fertilize. Super convenient and light to handle if you don’t have the strength to lift heavy bags of dirt

Great product for gardeners
I really like this product for amending and stretching my potting soil. It has worked wonderfully for the purpose that I used it. It took me a short time to figure out how much water to add to the coir so that it became a usable amendment. I would recommend this product.

Compact.
This was enough to mix with 4 huge bags of soil to plant in my 8’ x 2’ herb garden box. They love it.

What leak?
Bought it to mix my own potting soil, wound up saving my yard from a water leak! I had set it by my potting bench for future use. We had a water pipe start a slow leak in the building behind me and even slower landlord to address it (6 days it went by) and it started flooding my yard. This big block of Coconut Coir absorbed almost all of the water, preventing water damage to my in ground Cacti collection! LOL Unintentional Hero here, lol. After the leak was repaired, I scooped up the semi loose coir and had to add yet more water to rehydrate it thoroughly and potted Cactus with it in my potting soil mix. 10/10 Recommend

Fun to watch grow
I left mine unwrapped in the locations in which I wanted them but did not, at the time, have a hose to use to water them. In the meantime, we had a thunderstorm. When I went out the next morning, they were puffed up and ready to spread. I mixed each 10# with 40# of nitrogen-rich black dirt; my veggies are taking off!!

Best coco coir for the price
The media could not be loaded. High quality. Came super dry, and compact, I needed a chisel and mallet to break off chunks. Half the block took 6.5gallons of warm water to hydrate and made about 12 gallons hydrated, mixed in some perlite and compost to fill the tub.I've ordered from plant stores, Costco, big box stores and this is by far the best price super impressed and excited to have a solid source.
