Having read through some of the other reviews, I was a bit hesitant at first to order this item. I am now glad I did! The heater arrived earlier than expected and was extremely well packaged. Any fragile part, for example the glass tube, was encased in thick expanded polystyrene and very well protected from damage. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and as with any home assembly, read instructions first, check all screws and fixings and separate them by size etc. From start to finish, the assembly process took just under 1.5hrs. Some reviews claimed the metal sheets were razor sharp, but I did not experience this. That said, if you are prepared to slide any body part down the side of a piece of sheet metal, expect to get cut, much like a sheet of paper! I did have one very small issue in that three of the fixing holes on the top plate had sadly not been tapped during the manufacturing process. I contacted the company direct and they were amazing. They instantly sent a replacement - no issues at all. I was even contacted after as a follow up to ensure I had received the plate and that all was okay. So, to the item itself. Its a great patio heater and looks the part in the garden. Some heaters look too industrial or much like an oil can with a large pole attached. I have stood under some of these and start to feel ill because the heat is so intense. However this patio heater is great for heat control. Its not "nuclear" when its on full, but provides a nice, gentle heat that means you can spend so much more time sitting in the garden in those chillier autumn/winter evenings. The heat is background, which means you will not be sitting out in shorts and t-shirt in December, so expect to wear sensible clothing. For me what is essential is that you do not come away with a suntan after sitting under it. We have had friends round for evening drinks and they are amazed at the quality of the heater and especially how great it looks. In the last few weeks we have had some extremely high winds and I expected to find the heater on its side one morning. This did not happen at all. The heater is slightly unstable with no gas bottle in it, but once you have that bottle connected, the heater is not going anywhere. You would have to hit it quite hard to knock it over. The design is great in that as well as heat, you have a lovely flame that passes up the glass tube, which, as well as proving some subtle background light, you also get the romantic view of a real flame. I cannot recommend this patio heater enough. Yes, its a little bit more expensive that some other heaters on the market, but as with just about anything, you really do get what you pay for. In terms of the supplier, this can also be very important when purchasing any item. Again, I cannot praise the supplier enough for their support and rectification of the one little fault I had. Manufacturing processes do go wrong from time to time, but was is essential is that we are all supported by the supplier or outlet from where we purchased the item. Customer care is of utmost importance and the supplier of this patio heater is second to none. I will certainly do business with them again.

Having read some of the previous reviews I had a few doubts but the heater is worth the money without doubt. Took a couple of hours to assemble but to be honest the longest part was trying to get the blue plastic coating off the top reflector. It’s was infuriating as it came off in tiny strips rather than just peel off. The instructions aren’t the greatest, make sure you have lined up the bottom section front ( with slots) and the mid section as the controls only go in one way. The battery had me fooled as there is no mention of it in the manual, but the ignition button unscrews and the battery fits inside. Tried it last night and if gives off a good amount of heat and looks great.

After admiring the design abroad we chose this based on the reviews, appearance and price. Yes, it takes a while to assemble and some metal edges are sharp but overall the quality is good. It’s sturdy, throws a good heat over a decent area and is a real showpiece in the garden.

This is a very good quality product it arrived on time and was well packaged. It was easy to put together for anyone with some DIY skills although it is a fair bit of work and takes some time. All the main steel edges are folded over to avoid sharp edges and everything fitted together well. The instructions were ok although some parts were pre-assembled (which simplyfied things). All parts seem to be of a high quality and the look when constructed is very smart. The supplied cover is also decent quality with a zip from top to bottom. The heater looks good when lit giving out a fair bit of light and the heat output is ok although not as much as our previous heater which had a large heater grill and big umbrella reflector to beam heat down - this was expected as it is different type of heater to the previous one. It is easy to manoeuvre without the gas bottle on board but like all of these it is difficult when heavy bottle is in the unit. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a pyramid shaped heater with the flame in glass tube effect.

After reading reviews of many similar products I settled on this one due to many more positive reviews than most of the alternatives which had comments re poor quality and cut fingers from sharp steel edges. This was a bit more expensive but it turns out well worth the extra cost. There are so many on the market, many are cheaper, glad I paid a little extra for the quality. Very well made, sheet steel well finished with no sharp edges, easy to build up (make sure you study the diagrams VERY closely, I gaffed a few times but on checking back it was because I hadn’t looked closely enough at the drawings). Looks great, decent heat (in strong winds/breezes like all patio heaters whatever the design it will struggle). Two points to note - firstly nothing in the instructions re fitting the battery (a quick note to and reply from the seller sorted, great customer service) Secondly make sure you get the right propane cylinder to fit the regulator supplied. I got the wrong one (standard Calor 13kg propane) when it should have been Calor Patio Gas. No fault of the supplier, just be aware. All in all well pleased with the product and service.

Really lovely looking patio heater. Some reviews say it’s difficult to put together and has sharp edges. I disagree. If you take your time. Watch the video (I kept starting and stopping it at every stage) and refer to the instruction book if unsure and between them, you can’t go wrong. We found it extremely well made with no sharp edges. Took us a couple of hours but we were in no rush. Longest time was taking all of the blue protective plastic off. Couple of tips: Make sure you put the middle tray (that holds the ignition unit) on with the magnets facing the front (so opposite side to the wheels) this will give you access to the controls once it is built. If you put it on the wrong way, you will have to dismantle everything again to change it round When you insert the glass tubes, the clips at the top go outside of the glass. An electric screwdriver will save time if you have one and a wide flat head screwdriver was useful for a few stubborn screws Never move the heater when it is hot - the movement will cause the hot glass tube to shatter (tip from my gas bottle supplier who also sells these heaters) All in all a lovely addition to the garden and looks stunning especially at night.

I ordered this patio heater on 24/09 and it arrived 15/10. Assembly was done by my Hubby on 18/10 who said it was pretty straightforward and this allowed us to enjoy an amazing evening that night with our neighbour in the garden enjoying a few drinks and chat and not breaking any Covid rules as we were able to sit outside - see first pic. We all remarked at how pretty the thing is when lit up and it really gave off a good heat - we are in Scotland and the nights are chilly here. We used it again on Friday 30/10 for a Halloween party for 10 kids - again, not breaking any Covid rules as we were outside all night. My niece was wearing shorts that night as part of her Halloween outfit as you will see from pic 2 but never complained of the cold once as we had the patio heater on. After the party, Hubby and I moved the heater to a corner of the garden and covered it with the protective cover it comes with. Unfortunately, Storm Aiden and Hurricane Zeta hit on Saturday 31/10 and to my horror was strong enough to knock our beloved heater over and of course the glass tube has smashed. I contacted Burrowmount on Saturday afternoon and explained our predicament and spoke to a lovely guy who said in view of the fact we've only had it a couple of weeks he would send us a replacement tube for free. Amazing Customer Service! And it is due to arrive in time for a wee fireworks get together I'm having in the garden on 5th November so there will be happy and warm kids once again. I've also since purchased bungee cords so this will now always be tethered when not in use to avoid it toppling ever again - lesson learnt!
