Normally I wear a 9.5, but read the reviews and decided to go with a 9. I should have ordered a 10. The shoes fit, but are snug and leave imprints on the top of my feet. Cute shoes though and I would definitely buy again- just in a size up.

Love the color and style. I ordered a size up to an 8 after reading some reviews. I’m usually a 7-7.5 W. They are a bit too big, but since I wear socks with them, they work.

I really thought these shoes were cute but, sadly, they weren't comfortable for me at all. When I took them out of the only slightly smooshed shoebox (which arrived in a white Amazon envelope), I had high hopes that they would look and feel as good as the canvas lace-up shoes that I wore throughout my childhood. Yes, they're made of canvas (with PVC soles), and yes, they look very nice; but they are actually on the stiff side and feel more like cardboard on my feet. The shoes have nice stretchy, striped inserts on each side of the decorative eyelets and faux shoelaces on the uppers. And they're fairly easy to slip on, despite their stiffness. But once they're on, they pinch on top. So beware if you're a shopper with a high instep (like me). Moreover, the shoes have only a thin layer of cushioning and no arch support at all. Since they were very inexpensive (priced about the same as a pair of no-frills flip-flops) they're probably a very good value for what they are. But I would recommend them only to shoppers who are on a tight budget, care a lot about style, and are fortunate enough to have near-perfect feet.

This is probably the tenth time I have rated these shoes. My wife swears by them. They are comfortable and goes with most anytime this side of formal. We learned to clean them and not wash them in the washing machine but as long as they make to; we will buy them. My wife is extremely active and wears out a pair about every year but most people will have a pair for several years. I highly recommend this shoe
